Hopeful Holder, I'm with selftrade (equiniti) and i found them to be spot on, no problems whatsoever, accounts clearly showed my entitlements and what i could apply for in the excess OO. All completed on line with no reason to have to phone them.
Money that i was owed was promptly returned from the scaled back excess OO and i was kept up to date with texts and emails... really couldn't fault them.

TDW AND iii to merge early 2017
What if I have accounts with both TD Direct and Interactive Investor?

A. TD Direct customers will have received separate notification about the deal. For now there is no change for customers of either company. Following regulatory approval, early 2017 then we will be in touch with further details
........
I think it will affect the fca limit of compensation £75,000 currently so you may need to open 2017/18 isa with diff provider ...something to consider anyway ,although government paid out on Icelandic bank saga you cannot risk being over compensation limits this day and age

The iii dot Co dot uk were very good and easy to use.The old selftrade, now equiniti, quite frankly, were a shambles. Not easy to follow, necessitated phone calls to sort as nothing available online. The iii system was all on line and simple. I have had issues with iii in the past but for this instance, they were faultless.

Nine ordinary buys have gone through at 37.037 without the offer price being raised from 36.75. Hence subsequent AT buys have gone through at the quoted price. Very strange way to operate.

Edit: Just ticked up

re fpso its such a big investment and once purchased it will be on their books for some time, one would think its not only hur making that decision for the purchase or lease

Last month, market sources told Upstream that Bluewater’s Aoka Mizu and Petrojarl Varg vessels are potential options for Lancaster, though both are also likely to be competing for Alpha Petroleum’s Cheviot project in the northern North Sea.

not many shs in the scheme of thing guardian, compared to the shs from the placing that wont be sold given kerogen and ca's history.. good news from lincoln should cause good upside and any oo sellers wont hold the share price back as imo there'd be more shs being bought than oo shs being sold, if much...

cheers

It's merely a couple of board members exercising their basic entitlement from the open offer Rayrac, I'm going to make the assumption that the BOD agreed not to apply for excess shares or more likely they are prohibited from doing so because this is surely a closed period.

My strategy (very simply) is as follows:

Waiting for first oil from Stella announcement from IAE. Hopefully announcement of some sort of agreement from OPEC around the same time. IAE share price rises 20-25%.
Cream off 20-25% of my IAE holding (considerable) and add to my HUR holding (not quite so considerable). All within my ISA.

Sit back and have a beer or three.
