Given the share price being so close to the placing price, I added more again today and have exhausted my cash funds.Kandy, don't worry too much at this point. Your research should give you confidence that your investment is a good one and the chance of making a profit is good.Don't let any of us here influence your investment decisions!

yes they take the cash to submit a block application we may find that we get some shares and cash is then re credited back into our accounts for the amount of shares you do not get allocated

Cheers laserdisc, could understand them taking payment for the allocated amount of shares available to me under the OO but wasn't so sure about the excess shares applied for. Thought they would only have taken payment after it was confirmed how many (if any) were granted as excess.

TD have taken the money from my account and are showing the allocation for both subscription and open offer shares..

That said, I believe that there is absolutely ZERO chance that the open offer will be undersubscribed. I know of 3 people (of which I am one) who have applied for 250,000 between them so, that is circa 2.5% of the offer taken up, BY JUST 3 PEOPLE.... I believe that the offer will be scaled back and, significantly so...

As for the subscription, you need 760,000 shares to get 10,000 at 34p to make say a couple of pence a share at the moment so a couple of hundred quid. Are people really that desperate...???!

Spoke to my broker around 2pm Today , with HL they are allowing my OO entitlement in my SIPP which I'm not taking to be transferred to either my ISA ( unable to as full , sold free 88e for my allocation there )or my Vantage account.

So in my two out of three accounts I am getting my full allocation , also asked for extra in Vantage account so fingers crossed .

If the city thought that the recent funding was bad they'd have marked it down lot more than this and CA and KEROGEN wouldn't have been happy .
Couple weeks the clouds silver lining will be here

what about the prior placing sloppy: it was a ~50pc premium to the then share price .... placings are just ways to create cash and temporarily affect the share price activity... the cash will allow the company to materially progress and create further share holder value.....

makes you wonder why IIs insist on a discounted placement. The share price inevitably falls back, more dilution has been created and the price has to start again from a lower base.

May as well save all the hassle and place at prevailing market price or even better a slight premium.

gary: at least no one can say they didnt get a sniff at the placing price. ppl were saying the placing was at a too big a discount to the then Sp on day of rns, so ppl cant have it both ways.... i think the share price will be north of 50p in Dec.... none of it wwil matter then.... certainly Kerogen and CA and the newbie blue chip investiors are al looking for a profit and happy to invest substantially at 34p..... kerogen and CA have done so very well so far from their 15p placing participation, and their backing at 34p again shows they wont be floging their stock, and i dare say the new blue chip investors wil do the same.... cheers

People are confusing their own broker's deadline for their clients with the closing deadline for the Offer.

From the Placing/Open Offer document:

'Latest time and date for receipt of completed Application Forms and payment in full under the Open Offer or settlement of relevant CREST instruction (as appropriate) 11.00 a.m. on 7 November 2016'

Whatever you may believe your account is showing, no shares have yet been allocated.

Hardly surprising if the OO is not well taken up, I was notified of it by letter from Barclays received on the 31st and only opened that evening that I needed to apply by 5pm that day.
