11/4/2018 18:31 | Hi wiseacre, HUR has 1,960,000,000 shares in issue (approx.) with another chunk to come on convertible bond conversion. It's reasonable to talk of stakebuilding when you see40-50 million a day, not the 12 million (buys AND sells) we've seen today. ATB | extrader
11/4/2018 18:03 | High volume of trade today suggests stake building. share price Angel note warns company could be vulnerable to a takeover bid | wiseacre
11/4/2018 17:37 | hd, good to read that. I bedded and ISAed another 100,000 this morning [3 accounts] as I remain, like many other knowledgeable holders here, very confident. I hope to see the good Dr in June at the AGM but doubt we will see such a meeting next year! | chessman2
11/4/2018 17:27 | the stock on loan should be an acceptable level come June it is continuing to fall | laserdisc
11/4/2018 17:26 | I suspect that delta hedging took care of most of the bonds so any overhang from them is liable to be short-lived. | hiddendepths
11/4/2018 17:20 | hd, I bow to your knowledge gained during working umpteen years in the city and in particular to your reasoning. The logic is perfect. The areas around Bevis Marks, Moorgate and in fact everywhere in the city have changed virtually beyond recognition during the past few years! I expect the buying to continue but if the bonds convert we could see a rest for a while or so. | chessman2
11/4/2018 17:13 | Yep I am seriously considering selling up 50% of my BOO. Holding to put here....think this has more near term track.I called my gut feeling that this would see 40p this week.....it would appear we will get there a day early.....tomorrow will be interesting. | telbap
11/4/2018 16:59 | Well we are coming up to an important resistance point of around 42p so may have a pullback there. However I’m on the bullish stance with Hur and based on indicators and a trading channel I’m looking at a target price in the not too distant future of +50p | bigdazzler
11/4/2018 16:50 | It is possible lti. That would be good as the buying could go on for weeks or months and the stock doesn't return to the market for a long time. I don't think there's much loose stock at all now. Indeed, I can't really see much of a case for selling at all. My gut is still telling me that there will be a bid this year though - and that the first approach could trigger a bidding war because all the big boys interested in the UK must be very aware of the potential of the Hurricane acreage. If so, fasten your seat belts! I'm sure they're all waiting to see the early results from the EPS but at some point I think that one of them will break ranks and jump the gun. Then the others will have no option but to get involved or accept they'll never get it. | hiddendepths

11/4/2018 16:12 | They are beginning to dare to believe.... | chopsy
11/4/2018 16:11 | The Cantor note is gold. The best part for me....."Hurricane asset base now equates for 13-25% of the entire remaining recoverable resource on the UKCS. Whilst further appraisal across the portfolio is required, the potential is staggering, and we believe that it will be of great interest to the majors as they seek to acquire new reserves."I had a feeling for 40p this week......could well be more now....todays volume is climbing nicely. | telbap
11/4/2018 15:46 | For those too idle to click. "Cantor Fitzgerald has a ‘buy’ recommendation and an 80p price target, compared to the current price of 38.79p. Hurricane yesterday updated investors on the progress being made on Lancaster as the company released its financial results statement." | hiddendepths

11/4/2018 10:33 | At least the company keeps us informed of progress and sailaway should be greeted with another small rise in the S.P. as has every piece of news to date. | bocase
11/4/2018 10:24 | Thanks........think we might see an early sailaway but do t see foil in '18....these guys have set their stall and appear to me as time keepers | telbap
11/4/2018 10:01 | Overview of key milestones chart I see "sail away" shows start of window as Q2, so we are already beyond the earliest feasible dates for that. Earliest Arrival in field is Q3. Would be nice to see sail away before mid May to give us some small hope of Q4 FOIL. | thanksamillion
11/4/2018 08:54 | chopsy, The new presentation (2017 Results) is the SECOND presentation on the Hurricane Presentations webpage. At the top of the list on that page is the Q1 2018 Presentation that was issued in February. It creates the anomaly that the Project Timeline in the 2017 document is a more recent version than the equivalent slide in the Q1 2018 document! | wessexmario
10/4/2018 20:44 | Does that new presentation differ any from the previous one? It all looks the same to me. | chopsy |
