19/3/2018 20:39 | TT I think they will treat the wells very carefully to start with and not ramp them up to max drawdown, before they have sufficient reservoir data. FFD plan will include many more wells and other accumulations. | chopsy
19/3/2018 19:16 | The wells during testing were still cleaning up. Rates could be higher? | tiltedtrader
19/3/2018 18:51 | Hi chopsy, The FPSO info sounds like good 'hard' stuff. Thanks. ATB | extrader
19/3/2018 15:44 | Actually the EPS model is for 20,000 bopd, they only quote 17,000 for an 85% uptime factor. Meanwhile the FPSO has achieved 97% (2009-2016). | chopsy
19/3/2018 15:37 | According to the presentation 7Z has the higher Max ESP rate of 19,375 bopd, whereas 6 was less at 9800 bopd. I agree with Peter it must be both. (ESP = electrical submersible pump). | chopsy
19/3/2018 15:20 | I can't see anything in there that's suggests any current intention not to carry out the planned work and link the FPSO up to two wells, initially. All the link shows is that approval has only yet been applied for for one. Since the lead in time on these doesn't look that long, we are presumably just seeing an application for the well that will be worked on first. Plenty of time yet for the second, when they get nearer to that.HUR are a serious operation, the EPS is planned to work, and prove up the concept. They have both a better chance of success, and of producing convincing data by connecting both wells. They're not going to change that halfway through the development.Peter | greyingsurfer
19/3/2018 15:06 | Hi chopsy, Maybe we should ask the company... Good idea ! Could you clarify and report back ? TIA and ATB | extrader
19/3/2018 15:03 | Certainly the revenue from EPS will be significant, if only an indicator of what could be achieved on FFD. Maybe the permitting will be staged. | chopsy
19/3/2018 14:58 | Can they really achieve 17,000 bpd from 21a-6 on its own? 21a-7z is drilled and ready to go I really can't understand if they are applying for permits for one horizontal producer only. The presentation says "cautiously constrained drawdown on wells whilst reservoir data collected, comfortably within production capacity of 30,000bopd" so it seems to me the EPS is definitely going to be from both horizontals. Maybe we should ask the company... | chopsy
19/3/2018 14:46 | Hi laserdisc, I really value your input, but : ..."why do more of producers work than necessary ?.." The money ? ;-> The buyer/producer may have internal hurdles to overcome ( not necessarily logical, relevant or obvious) that we, as outsiders, aren't aware of... ATB | extrader
19/3/2018 14:09 | steelwatch they don't have to connect both wells to get further data to prove it flows etc? how does second horizontal producer (205/21a-7Z) fit into permits scheme, if they get one flowline into action would that be quicker to foil ? then let farmin partner complete the rest of job. I don't know but perhaps an option to reach foil quicker, they want to be an explorer rather than a producer so why do more of producers work than necessary | laserdisc
19/3/2018 13:23 | No idea on that laserdisc. | steelwatch
19/3/2018 13:20 | steelwatch, thanks for doing that, do you reckon the link will work after 27th march? | laserdisc
19/3/2018 13:18 | Hi Extrader - I've amended the link which should work now. Select 2018 from the drop down menu and then click tabs as required. There are 2 screenshots above taken today, but you'll need to scroll down to find the relevant data posted above. | steelwatch
19/3/2018 13:14 | extrader its up to date ,other oil co's are still awaiting decision mode with applications prior to 2/3 each on their own merits I presume, we have oil discharge permit which may be needed just for any seabed work ,I am not sure how things work with permits ,but happy with what is showing presently. | laserdisc
19/3/2018 13:02 | Hi steelwatch, I can't access the website to see headings and understand significance. If I'm looking at the first two items (applications to run activity from 2nd March to 14th April), shouldn't these have been received - and actioned - by now ? When is/was the screenshot ? Pls elaborate ! TIA | extrader
19/3/2018 09:39 | HAHAHA...Sweat it out Chutes. | thanksamillion
19/3/2018 07:58 | corporate news update coming .. | chutes01
19/3/2018 07:39 | Extrader your a star! Thank you | bobsworth
19/3/2018 07:15 | Hi Bobsworth, I agree Laser's input is great ! I'm particularly struck by the apparent ability to see if ship draught has changed.......spooky ! If you go to www.hurricanenergy.c The time-line of upcoming events is set out there....and surely, it's up to YOU to decide their relative significance. ATB | extrader
19/3/2018 06:30 | Yes thanks Laser for the location updates. Fascinating to judge HUR progressing nicely. With little or no understanding of the sequence of events to come could you kindly list them all for us in order of appropriate timescale. Sorry to ask but this info would be very helpful to gauge when we might expect significant uplift in share buying as each step reduces the risk to HUR in achieving 1st oil. Hope you do not mind me asking and TIA | bobsworth
18/3/2018 15:01 | Thank you Laser,i always find your posting to be very informative. | rethemagic
18/3/2018 09:49 | rethemagic Last night Union panda and Union jade tugs brought the Fortitude vessel down part of river Scheldt lots of mudbanks in that river so they keep to shipping lane. Fortitude now moored @ Churchill Terminal that terminal has mobile crane / rolling facilities up to 140 tonne its a trans shipment bay , Hur advised the name Fortitude so I do not have names of vessel to track from here will advise if I see any movement, it will have onboard other cargo I presume, draught of vessel not yet altered | laserdisc
18/3/2018 09:26 | All beginning to come together now.Laser are theses chains being held in Antwerp or carrying on the journey to Aberdeen. | rethemagic |
