06/4/2018 08:31 | Another nice move today. Methinks somethings afoot (probably the length of the drill bit) | bocase

05/4/2018 22:20 | HUR May go on to become a mini major , however investments are massively based on timescales as such . Holding HUR in a SIPP being an example , self qualities such as patience , etc come into mind . So perhaps in 2025 HUR May Be worth £5 a share and I might be holding them in my SIPP but for my 250,000 HUR no SIPP shares then at a £1 it would take a lot for me not to sell and be happy at that . Let’s see how many £20,000 trades we see tomorrow, Mind you if we got to £1 this year I’d be tempted to go invest lots in SXX | gibso6767
05/4/2018 19:37 | Hd, let us hope that we see a minimum of 100p. I know and appreciate you have been invested here for longer than me and that you are also confident that Dr T has everything under control. However I suppose we must allow market forces to take their course. Nonetheless I agree it will be a disappointment to both the board and to us if a bid comes in to get us on the cheap. I am confident that HUR has the means to support the U.K. for the next 10/20 years so it will become irritating to say the least if a BP or SHELL tries to take the credit. | chessman2
05/4/2018 19:33 | I won't be fed up at over 70p and I've been holding ages!! Stale bull I guess like plenty of others :-) | 0rient
05/4/2018 19:01 | I won't be fed up at over a pound . | zztop
05/4/2018 17:48 | Yes, it would appear that a big buyer is around, not for the first time this year. My guess, fwiw, is that several stakes just a smidge below the declarable level have been built up by oil companies with an interest in taking the whole company. I will be very surprised if we see the end of 2018 without a bid, which would be very disappointing for those of us who have been in HUR through thick and thin. If it does happen we can only hope that there will be a bidding war. I hate it when someone else grabs most of the upside after I've seen it early and held for years. It's happened all too often to me in this sector. Dana, Burren, Ultramar, Marinex, Lasmo, Enterprise, Britoil and at least a dozen others. The list goes on and on and I am heartily fed up with it! | hiddendepths
05/4/2018 16:37 | Gettin better all the time. | zztop

04/4/2018 13:40 | Sounds like a lot of jibba jabba to me down the bookies with _ackers putting on £5 bets out of this weeks dole money | gary38
04/4/2018 10:18 | careful Jibba Jabba coz anyone who accuses Gary of being a mug punter will be told they are two bob tuppenny traders who don't hold a position longer than 10 mins and who deserve to be either down the job centre or on the casino tables. ironically he is the biggest mug punter of them all. | rackers1
04/4/2018 08:29 | Mug punters buying at 60 and 40 (like Gary) nursing big losses i see. Oh dear. | jibba jabber
03/4/2018 17:08 | The next 6 months are going to be very for the Hurricane Energy team with the following:-Hurricane continues to work closely with TechnipFMC as part of its contracted integrated service offering. Together with its subcontractors, including SBM Offshore Services Inc, TechnipFMC is continuing to work to ensure the safe and timely installation of the turret mooring system (TMS) and the subsea systems (flowlines, risers, umbilical, jumpers and manifold), for the Lancaster EPS. These elements remain on schedule for installation during the Q2/3 2018 weather window. | gary38
03/4/2018 13:20 | The AM images below are courtesy of Tarkers from iii bb, which were taken over the weekend: Apparently his office overlooks the shipyard. | twixy
03/4/2018 11:02 | Thanks lt. I attended the 2 previous AGMs and also remain confident. | chessman2
03/4/2018 09:48 | I am not sure how many of you were present at last Junes AGM but I was able to have a 5 minute conversation with Robert Trice who stated that he had no doubt that the well would flow profusely. He went on to say that the flowrate would be ramped up over 6 years and at that stage it would plateau at that level. | ltinvestor
03/4/2018 09:35 | The 'new trick' is produce commercial volumes of oil from fractured granite in a UK field. | fireplace22
03/4/2018 09:11 | ......yes, but those were the first ponies to do their particular trick. Later ponies, doing the same old trick, were not necessarily so successful ? In fact, is not the Hurricane pony trying to resurrect a trick that was previously being done by another pony who gave up ?? Enough 'horsing around' - where is this 90p a share that was predicted ??? | dexdringle
03/4/2018 08:49 | Yes, but when a 'one trick pony' is successful, it's often VERY successful. The secret is to concentrate on one main product, and to do it very well. Check out the start up history of Coca Cola, Henry Ford, Cadburys, Gillette, Ronald McDonald, ... | wessexmario
03/4/2018 00:15 | ALBA!!! One to watch but don't hang around. About to 15 bag. See link below | stephen2010
02/4/2018 22:15 | I think I’ve used the wrong phrasing as in ‘One Trick Pony ‘ however the EPS is HURs way of proving the science , proving up reserves , flowrates , depletion and garnering a lot of cash into our coffers . It looks like we are going it already n to EPS and beyond and we possibly could be less than 6 months from FOIL . So apart from new Appointments surely other assets ie Whirlwind , Strathmore, are significantly on the back burner . My own wishes would be 100% EPS , then more appraisals and yes the AM is limited other completions from constant cash flow from exports . Then if we are offered a friendly deal takevthat optionnon wildcards ie Whirlwind and Strathmore ( perhaps wildcard isn’t word to use as one trick pony wasn’t ). Anyway no trading Friday or today gives a greater chance of an RNS on Wednesday | gibso6767
02/4/2018 08:27 | Spose every company that ever existed started with one trick? | zztop
02/4/2018 00:07 | Gibso, I do understand what your saying,We just better hope Lancaster is it. | zztop |
