18/3/2021 14:24 | Surprisingly tick up today .2v1Expecting move next week | jailbird
18/3/2021 12:18 | Yes, it isn't a confident move. More of a desperate one. On the other hand, it could be simply rewarding insiders weeks before a t/o move. | excellance
18/3/2021 12:08 | Ceres has just completed a placing at a discount of 4.3% to last nights close.A stark contrast to the discount of around 17% employed by Horizonte some weeks back. That said, the subsequent price movement would suggest that such a large discount was necessary.7.5p has become a resistance level. When the company has the equivalent of a 1 for 6 at a substantial discount, the markets going to find it difficult to argue with. | steeplejack
17/3/2021 22:01 | Do you think we'll get an offtake agreement this month and finance sorted in H1, or will Jezza miss his target again? Or, will we be taken over pre finance? | excellance
17/3/2021 21:56 | We can indeed excellance. | fireplace22
17/3/2021 21:45 | As is every organisation. We'll have to agree to disagree about lockdowns, but maybe we can agree that HZM has a chance of making us some cash? | excellance
17/3/2021 21:14 | excellance, the generally accepted mortality rate of covid for the general population is 0.35% (0.10 in the U60's)to get a death toll of 500K that means 143 million people would have to be infected. Pop of the UK is nearer 65 million. If stans 2% is correct (it isn't) that means to get the current death toll of 130K only 6.5m have been infected. That is tripe as there were more than that positive tests in the last 6 months and you can multiply that by at least two as most of those infected don't get tested (No, or minor symptoms and averse to the test regime)Then we have the massive initial spike in April and the summer cases. Shieldbug, I said up to £700B spent in total, I suggested something significant but far far smaller to support the NHS. Why couldn't the human resource be available to staff the Nightingales? All minor ops. were cancelled as were many routine clinics, A&E were operating on half load at best, thousands of retired doctors and Nurses were on standby. Nurses claimed they were going into work facing empty wards and no patients. The truth is probably that the hospitals were not overwhelmed or anywhere near. Clinically I have no complaint against the NHS but it is managed either by morons or people with their own agenda. Anyway why spend £200M on Nightingales without the staff to man then. Gross stupidity or just surplus to requirement? . | fireplace22
17/3/2021 19:22 | excellence, the collateral damage is not just economic, far from it...unfortunately. Stanley dear, are you frothing at the mouth as you type? Try and calm down and stop deliberately misquoting what peeps have said, silly boy. Is Biden going to be Impeached in 2022 should he last that long? | backinblack80
17/3/2021 19:16 | I think it shows clear mistrust of politicians and big pharma, and to be honest they have a point. However, this BB is about HZM and not covid or denyers. | excellance
17/3/2021 18:13 | I can't believe that educated people think that lockdowns are worse than half a million deaths. Yes, I get that there is economic damage, so what, we can easily repair that after. Public health before corporate profit every day for me. Did the politicians exploit this crisis to sort other issues out, parachute cash to the poor, give the police more powers, yes, probably, but that's a separate issue. We are now in recovery mode, our currency is devalued, the economy reset, and the politicians can blame covid. Well done to them. | excellance
17/3/2021 16:01 | We've had 3 lockdowns and done everything SS and excellance have asked for and ended up with one of the highest death rates from Covid in the world. So did the lockdowns work? btw, with lockdown still in place and nearly half of the pop vaccinated (including the vast majority of the most vulnerable) we will still be getting about 200,000 cases testing positive this month that's a fraction of the real cases of course. | fireplace22
17/3/2021 15:39 | We're going to spend up to £700B 'protecting ourselves from this disease' even the NHS is small beer compared to that, about £100B per year. If we wanted to protect the NHS wouldn't spending another £20B or so have been a lot cheaper? To protect the NHS - just lies. 'I turn now to the most recent disaster. The so called Coronavirus pandemic. In Britain, as in other countries the appalling economic damage has been caused by the reaction to it rather than the virus itself. Ponder if you will the amazing political buffoonery over the last year. The government closed down the country for two weeks to ‘protect the NHS’ a Gilbertian concept if ever there was one. I was under the impression the outrageously expensive monolith of the British sacred cow was there to protect us, not we it. Millions were spent on Nightingale emergency hospitals but never used. The lockdown in some form along with social restrictions, most with no medical or scientific reason were foisted upon the public with no regard for the principles of English Law, the Bill of Rights or even natural justice. Police powers have been extended to a level last known to Europe in 1950s East Germany, resulting in exposure of a level of stupidity worthy of Norman Wisdom comedy at best or George Orwell’s 1984 at worst. Yet MSM did not challenge the faux science or those promoting it but lobbied for harsher restrictions whilst being immune from them with guaranteed salaries & a press laisser passer'. And like idiots we accepted it all! | fireplace22
17/3/2021 15:34 | Of course lockdowns work, to slow down transmission to a level where the crumbling NHS can cope. Perhaps if government invested a lot more cash into the NHS and raised tax to pay for that then lockdowns may not need to be so severe. Can't have it both ways. | excellance
17/3/2021 15:23 | or covid disappearing..given that lockdowns dont work according to our board anti lockdown nutjobs, perhaps brazilians should socialise more just so that we can get this impending collapse over with sooner rather than later | stansmith3
17/3/2021 13:16 | Yes, like a mine being built.. | excellance
17/3/2021 13:04 | First nickel expected late 2023. That's some time away - a lot could happen before then. | robbiekeane |
