Laurence, my understanding of these
options call, make whole or put and this is from memory.
in the event of a change of ownership, if construction has not started by a
certain date HZM can call in the royalty, buy it back, I guess this would
be to facilitate the sale.
At the same token Orion has the option
of asking for the $25 million back with
interest for length of the "loan"
This all from memory so have not
rechecked for accuracy

I thought it was a logical question,
We went from 8p to 7.5p in a week, we
went from 7.5p to 7p(just under) in a week, will the trend continue?
or will we hit some kind of support
which up until now been absent?
Not sure why it's a stupid question?
I am not saying it will or it won't.

Good point fireplace22. It's amazing how the likes of excellence are so ignorant about things...or, in the case of excellence so fickle...
blue square..what a stupid question...

#blue square.., I did some digging on the royalty with OMF..

On 29 August 2019 the Group entered into a royalty funding arrangement with Orion Mine Finance (“OMF") securing a gross upfront payment of $25,000,000 before fees in exchange for a royalty, the rate being in a range from 2.25% to 3.00% and determined by the date of funding and commencement of major construction.

At inception of the loan and at the year end the rate has been estimated at 2.45%

But, the aforementioned agreement includes several options embedded within it, there are Call/Make Whole or Put options available - and we have the right to buy back 50-100% of the royalty at a valuation that meets certain minimum economic returns for OMF..

So it may pan out to be not as harsh on revenues as I first thought under the right set of circumstances..

Brazil total failure in covid response? Deaths per million population 1,280. Shocking, compare that a country that has a rigid lockdown and been virtually under marshal law for a year. Deaths per million population there 1,840! Yes you guessed it Boris land and ministers and their cronies making millions from it. Corruption we could give the DRC lessons.

Brazil is in a mess because of the President. Not only has he totally failed in his covid response, and allowed deforestation of the Amazon to double, but he's planted a retired general to lead Petrobras and is getting very friendly with firmer president De Silva who is as corrupt as they come.

There may be big trouble in Brazil soon.

Nope, I'm not short HZM, never shorted anything ever, and FYI I have a substantial long position, but I voiced my concern when we first heard of the delay, concealed in a load of waffle about how they'd done a great job,
One good sign is the high profile Jeremy appears to be having at PDAC, so who knows maybe he will be man of the moment for the next quarter, I certainly hope so.

I think what annoys me is the notion that this is a done deal when it most certainly is not, tho I hope Jeremy bags the deal he wants.

talking of not having a cluetricky20 wrote recently...IMO once funding is finally tied down the share price for Araguaia 1 should rise to around 50% of NPV but more importantly the certainty that will come with Araguaia 1 funding should remove significant risk for Araguaia 2 and Vermelho. The funding/construction commencing RNS at Araguaia 1 should result in a minimum share price of 25p. That's the absolute minimum. If the promised news on Vermelho H1 2021 is significant then who knows where this might go. there are lots of these nuggets to choose from, will post more later if necessary

frustrating share to hold right now, but placings come with the territory unfortunately. If you believe in the long term story here, don't let derampers on BB's or twitter exploit any disgruntlement into an impulsive decision to sell. Good thing to come out of this is JM is now under a bit more pressure to deliver. If he can't or doesn't, I'm confident someone else will buy the assets at this price so the risk/reward is reasonable here IMO.

Why is it a steal when they haven’t got the project finance sorted yet? Bacanora raised $100m of project finance a few weeks ago but then they have a significant JV partner which no doubt helps attract investment. Until we know what the dilution will be it’s a gamble as far as I’m concerned.
