Does anyone recall JM making reference to the previous Nickel acquisition up the road. How does this now compare with HZM?https://www.theglobeandmail.com/amp/report-on-business/brazils-cvrd-offers-to-buy-canico/article1123785/

No jb. I haven't got a target price, though might sell those in my sipp when I reach my LTA. strow, to justify the risk of putting money in aim I want a minimum of 7% cagr ie double money over ten years. See it as the best case opportunity cost of not holding in a safer investment. That's just me trying to put a gloss of rationality on it, really just trying to convince myself it's not just an almighty punt ;). I'm always cautious on here, I wouldn't want anyone to put money in they can't afford to lose.

#excellence, I am thinking the USD440M will fund the mine build, but the punitive interest on new mine finance of which you speak is typically 8-10%, what we have negotiated is to be confirmed, but the 325M debt element needs to be serviced before any cash flows for at least 2 years..

Perhaps this needs to be funded and the last piece of the puzzle, the public offering is to cover this off...?

Then there are the 2 years of normal operating expenses / HQ / BOD salaries on top to consider before cashflows..?

I am I unsure if the 440M already takes into consideration the initial debt service needs but perhaps someone else can answer this ..? as the potential extra 65M cost is quite substantial...

Non binding term sheet
Unnamed entity
No details given.

Now Jeremy says in a fireside chat that in December we secured a cornerstone investor to the tune of broadly $100m

Doesn't that warrant an RNS all on its own?

Is it real?

I know they gave us $25m for a percentage of revenue...but no RNS in December about any cornerstone investor.

Anybody find a link to JM's cosy fireside chat with Alexander Pearce, the BMO Metals mining analyst, now like they're best buddies....? I assume its going/has gone live?

'Where were the predators when the stock was languishing under 2p'

Majors have a history of overpaying at the top of cycles and the picture for nickel both class 1 and class 2 has changed some what over the last 18 months or so....

(And 2p was laughable TBH....)

I liked JM's presentation today. Looking at the two themes I'm always returning to, dilution is the known unknown here. I think it's finally registering with some that it's difficult to put a value on the company when we can't put a figure on the equity percentage of this final capital raise. To me the crucial part is now the off-take and specifically if there is an upfront payment which reduces the equity requirement and hence the number of new shares issued. Interestingly JM is now hinting there might be an announcement on the off-take by the end of the month, when previously he had said no announcement would be made until the final deal was signed.

Secondly, my, admittedly, guess based on attendance of AGMs etc. that the intention of the BoD has always been to develop and construct a working mine under the control of the company (unless there was a "compelling" offer). This latest presentation seems to provide further evidence for this for A. Further the intention to advance V alone until a suitable partner/JV is forthcoming. All the above I find reassuring, but like many it's difficult not to feel a bit unsettled as the promised finishing deadline approaches. I still standby my old refrain that HZM will be worth at least twice what I paid for the share price (4p) but hopefully a lot more.

It's easy to promise something that will never happen. Talk of a public offering is just waffle, if they had to do that they would have done so by now. No, the only give away is for insiders in the recent placing.

The 7.5p insider placing was simply to cash in, and one of the predators may have been accumulating since 2p and have a seat in the directors table.

Any other predator may have backed off as a result of the placing, knowing that 17% of the shares were now out of reach, hence the falling back below placing price.

Takeover?...always possible but i think unlikely.Where were the predators when the stock was languishing under 2p.Why strike a year later when the price has quadrupled.Thereagain, stranger things have happened like Vale selling Vermelho for a song. The reference to a public equity offering in the presentation might subdue a rise in the price over the next few months.Perhaps they'll be something to trigger a run in the shares but that 7.5p placing price could become something of a template.

The latest interview.
Notice how he compares the HZM 2 stage development and IRR of 30% with what a major would do.

We are about to be taken over by a major...

Strategy looks to be to build the price for the main piece by the look of things. This recent placing appears a master stroke creating a strong hand for next phase. Still all quiet on Vermelho which is the main asset I expect that to drive value after finance completion.
It’s looking very good. Personally I think any sellers around this level will look back with regret. Just my view.

Do you think they will announce the Offtake closing at the end of March via an RNS or wait until all funding elements are concluded?

At least a bit more clarity, I am sure most
people just want closure now, mid year is not
too long to wait, hopefully 10p will be
attainable when its all wrapped up.

No just a presentation for the conference. Jeremy presents the opportunity and says more than he has in the past. Link attached.
