The kind of rise we're seeing just at the moment is exactly what I'd expect to see on nearing the end of the overhang. Not sure we're there just yet, but good to see continued buying support for HELD.

I'll look over the trades tonight.

I think last week saw 'peak frustration' for a lot of LTH's.

Even the omnipresent Haaland has gone quiet....and that takes some doing!

The after hours Holdings RNS has brought a ray of clarity and was sorely needed.

No time now, but I will review the trades since the 26th March to the present date and see how many more could possibly be attributed to Herskovic.

Hopefully he will be running on vapours before long and the buying activity we've seen can begin to positively impact the price.

AIMO ADYOR etc etc

RCT - I've located the site on google earth. Check your mail. It used to be pixilated due to its previous role with the U.N.....but that is no longer needed. Clearly a lot of work happening on the ground. New buildings, earth works, access roads and the big aircon units can be seen freshly installed outside the main two growing bunkers. The site is now also surrounded by solar farms...which again is new. This access to local power could provide a unique opportunity to the company.

News is long overdue. Lets hope the market gets a solid update this month.....coinciding with a barrage of fresh £20K ISA allowances and an exhausted seller could be just the tonic.

Good luck and NAI ADYOR etc etc

Whilst we are all waiting for something positive to happen, I thought I'd try to find the Kilkis site - failed miserably. Does anybody have the map coordinates please?

#HELD -

People need to realise that the MOU with Pireaus Bank in Jan

could have been wrapped up and concluded many weeks ago

Its still on the table

BUT Davinder has been working on a bigger, better finance deal for the company

We are on the cusp of a major move here

I down ticked post 2289 because I'm annoying and have a twisted sense of humour (Even though the point Extrader made was valid)

The downvoters of post #2289 plainly don't appreciate the irony of their action; the downvoting is visibly self-condemnatory.

Rather than down-tick anonymously something you don't like, which doesn't educate/help anybody, you could argue the case and address the observations.

Now there's a thought.

This from investing Genius (sic) :

If - per 4 - the bank (still Piraeus?) is a big supporter (a) why is there no update re status of the loan application and (b) why is there talk of alternative funding?

If - per 5 - HELD only took GBP 350 K (we were told $450K, never mind) and has been repaying 'since October' why only announce a mix of P + I (no breakdown) PARTIAL repayment, 5 months later ?

PS as I showed in an earlier post, it's arithmetically impossible for HELD to have been repaying instalments in full since October and still only have paid off principal (AND interest) of GBP 90K...which suggests that they're in some kind of 'soft default' / forbearance, surely?

This from a man who acknowledges (point 13) that 'PR and comms haven't been good' .......and assures us that he's going to do better.
That 'New year's resolution' hasn't worn well !

Point 6 acknowledges that HELD is indeed 'running on fumes'. If RGO is liquidating its portfolio as quickly as it can (per Halland75/Investing Genius), they're hardly likely to disincentivize early payment by imposing a penalty fee, are they? What's the betting HELD will nevertheless use that as a reason for drawing out repayments ?

'There are more questions than answers...and the more we find out, the less we know', it would seem.

Same old, same old...AFAICS

I have seen many times when people hold onto a stock and the price falls dramatically, they take the weakest "revenge" by starting to bash it.
Doing the same thing on EME.

A case in point from a very pathetic individual...

Nice one ash,
I have a few UKSPAC tucked away with my broker
Obviously they are currently still under the UKSPAC name
On Monday will the name automatically change to HELD and will they be able to be bought and sold as per normal from 8am on Monday?'

SPAC was about 30p I think.

That's all very well but are our dead-beats ever going to have any product to supply the market?

HELD's year end: today, 31 March. Presumably there'll be an RNS end of July concerning Annual Report for the period ended 31 March 2024. Meantime, à la recherche du temps perdu:

RNS
--->6th June 2023<---

"Hellenic Dynamics shares decline as announces strategic shift

...Hellenic will instead concentrate on the cultivation and supply of [good agricultural & collection practice] flowers to its EU-GMP certified distributors, saving the company considerable time and expense. ....

In addition, Hellenic said it is on track to have its first tetrahydrocannabinol cultivation underway this summer in northern Greece....."

So what explanation exactly is there for why planting evidently hasn't commenced?
None of course. Complete radio silence.

Germany legalises cannabis

In a large grey facility just outside the East German city of Dresden, security is tight.

The large metal door which bars the bright white corridors is the same type used to protect Germany's gold reserves.

Behind it, Demecan grows cannabis for medical use, something that became legal in 2017.

The strict security is due to the fact the drug is classed as a narcotic under German law.

But from 1 April that will change, with a new law decriminalising possession and home cultivation, a change managing director Dr Philipp Goebel hopes to capitalise on.

"For us, it was very good news when this law was passed," he said.

"Now we are allowed to grow more cannabis, which we can then also sell directly to the pharmacies.

"And the second part, which is very important to the patients, is that cannabis now is declassified.

"It's not a narcotic product anymore, which means that any doctor can now prescribe it."

Under the new law, adults will be allowed to possess up to 25g of the drug in public, hold 50g at home and grow a maximum of three plants.

From July, private "cannabis clubs" can supply 500 members on a limited basis.

"It's not the law we expected," said Steffen Geyer, a long-time cannabis activist and head of the association of Cannabis Social Clubs, "but it's a good law because we will have 180,000 less prosecutions in the next year".

He added: "That will be a big relief for cannabis consumers.

"You can have 25g of cannabis with you without being in fear of arrest and fear of problems with the police.

"Cannabis consumers will have a new place within our society.

"We will no longer be the black sheep of the recreational community.

Dr Philipp Goebel. Pic: Demecan
"We will be just like the people who use alcohol, or use chocolate, or coffee or tea."

But there are restrictions.

For example, a person has to be over 18 and smoking around areas such as playgrounds and sports centres is not allowed.

The potency of the THC, the psychoactive substance that makes you high, will also be limited, especially for under 21s.

To avoid "drug tourism" the only way to obtain recreational cannabis will be to grow it at home or via "cannabis clubs."

In both cases, people have to have been resident in Germany for at least six months.

Another 11% had no answer.

"I think it's bad because of the youth. It's dangerous," one male shopper in Berlin told us.

But a woman we spoke to said: "I think it's a good thing. Now they can ensure it's good quality and now the state can get the tax from it."

Despite some concerns, this is just the first step in a two-part plan.

If successful, it could pave the way for pilot projects allowing state-controlled cannabis to be sold in some licensed shops.

The HELD payment of £90,756 paid in shares on 28 March @ 1.26 = $ 114,352.

We're told that this is 'part of an outstanding loan and accrued interest'.

The question is (or should be): How big a 'part' ?

It was paid 28 March 2024 on a loan for $450K taken out 26 October 2023 ie 5 months ago.

.."The annual interest rate payable by the Company is 15% per annum payable on any outstanding amounts, quarterly in arrears.

· Each advance is repayable in monthly cash instalments after a holiday period, expected to be serviced from operational cashflow over the next 12-months.."

Unhelpfully (again) we're not told what the grace period is. The loan is $ 450 K.

If HELD had paid in 12 instalments, that would be $ 37.5K per month or $187.5K due to date. This exceeds the repayment actually made and also rules out a grace period.

A 1 or 2 month grace period would mean principal repayments of $163K (4 months@ $41K) or $135K (3 months @ $45K), so also not arithmetically possible.

So let's try a 3 month grace period and 9 instalments of $50K.

Two instalments due end March 2024 would be $ 100K. If interest is paid 'quarterly in arrears', after 5 months only 3 months interest is due. Three months' interest @ 15% on $450K would be ($67,500/12 *3 =) $16,875, together $ 116,875.

Absent any 'hard info', this seems as good a working hypothesis as any.

If so, HELD has paid off $100K out of its $450K loan and had accrued interest payable of $ 11,250 at end March 2024.

The situation appears even tighter than my 'blink' impression on first read.

If anyone has different numbers, pls share...including your assumptions !
