27/1/2024 23:23 | Danielm89, If you are around at some point I would really like to know what you think of this, I ask you as you were the first who pieced together a possible Pfizer link with HELD. I think it's a very realistic possibility that Pfizer could buy HELD once IP protection is secured (see the NBC piece below where it states Pfizer abandoned its cannabis-related patents). And remember in an interview Davinder was not opposed to a buyout. If Pfizer partnered/bought HELD out, perhaps Pfizer now feels the time is right to continue the work they had discontinued in regards to their pain treatments. Remember that HELD can produce different strains of medicinal cannabis, and that if HELD secured that IP protection, meaning only they can be used to supply it. Covid is over, Greek Banking crisis is over, Large Pharmaceuticals getting into the medicinal cannabis space, and that Pfizer link.... "Big Pharma Watching, Waiting and Building Cannabis Patent Portfolio". Published on: July 10, 2019 David Hodes "Big pharma is working on locking up cannabis patents, creating partnerships, and standing by to use its financial muscle for more ownership of the medical cannabis industry when the time is right". This piece from NBC News Now on Sept. 26, 2019, 5:44 PM BST By Noah Smith A Pfizer spokesperson, Sally Beatty, said the company “abandoned&rdq Is it just wishful thinking from me, or perhaps everything is aligning now? At this IMO, right time. | halland75

26/1/2024 15:58 | You do realize, don't you that the NY roadshow (like its earlier London equivalent)is about drumming up interest to help the Greek state divest itself of its stake in a 'bad bank' that it had to rescue in the GFC ? The clue is in the name - Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF). ATB | extrader

26/1/2024 08:49 | Cultivation Update due? From the RNS announcement of 29 September 2023, "Elgo Dimitra, the public research institute overseen by the Greek Ministry of Agriculture, has begun the cultivation of medical cannabis flowers for Hellenic Dynamics" As mentioned previously my inital timeline for the cultivation cycle sits around 17 weeks all done and dusted, dried and packaged ready for delivery. Today marks 17 weeks since the above RNS announcement. Come on Davinder, money where your mouth is. Provide us shareholders with an update. A few tweets / photo's would go along way! I remain cautious as there are still red flags with this company and will not invest further until I have evidence of what they promised has been delivered. GLA | kevin467

26/1/2024 07:10 | Wow! Read this guys, Powerful institutional investors fighting for a piece of Piraeus Bank. From Business Daily a few days ago... Piraeus Bank: "Fever" of contacts in New York, meetings with 45 investors A barrage of management meetings this week in New York with powerful institutional investors. There's a lot of interest in the placement. Where investors are focusing. The management of Piraeus Bank will have more than 40 meetings with institutional investors in New York this week, in view of the placement that the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) plans to carry out next March. The investors include some of the best known and largest investment houses, such as BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity, Capital, Wellington, Bank of America and others. Foreign institutional interest in Greek assets is very high, due to the dynamic economy, with banks being at the forefront of interest, while Piraeus Bank is in the spotlight in view of the sale of the state's stake to investors. Yesterday, Tuesday, Piraeus Bank's staff, led by CEO Christos Megalou, began meetings with investors in New York, as part of a two-day non deal roadshow organised for the bank by its advisers UBS and Goldman Sachs, which continues today. This will be followed immediately by a new round of meetings with investors as part of the also two-day conference organised by JP Morgan from tomorrow Thursday to Friday. Around 25 meetings are scheduled for the JP Morgan conference. Piraeus will have around 25 meetings with investors as part of the non deal roadshow, while a further 20 meetings will take place as part of the JP Morgan conference, which is also attended by other systemic banks and listed companies. It should be noted that last week a roadshow was held by Tr. Piraeus' roadshow in London, which attracted strong investor interest with the participation of about 30 investors. As BD reported, in the contacts with the bank's management, the investors focused both on the dynamics and prospects of the domestic economy and commercial banks and on the special characteristics of Piraeus Bank that make it one of the most impressive turnaround stories in Europe in recent years. Having successfully tackled the major challenges - a legacy of the crisis - Piraeus Bank is today the largest bank in the country in terms of deposits - loans, has high liquidity and at the same time has been significantly strengthened in terms of capital. Significantly, in 2023 the bank will show a normalised return on equity (RoaTBV) close to, and perhaps even higher than, 14%. In the presentations, the bank's management focuses on the growth prospects of the domestic economy and the banks, while detailing the major work that has been carried out with the complete consolidation and overhaul of the bank and the significant growth initiatives that have been undertaken. The highlight of the bank's transformation will be the 2023 results to be presented on 23 February, which are expected to be at record levels. At the same time, management will present new revised targets for the three-year period 2024 - 2026. What percentage of the HFSF will be allocated Regarding whether all or part of the HFSF's stake (27%) will be allocated, the people at Tr. Piraeus notes that this is a government decision and refers to the official announcements. It should be noted that last week, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, speaking to Bloomberg from Davos, noted that it has not yet been decided whether the Greek state will sell part or all of its stake in Piraeus Bank. In the same vein, sources at the Finance Ministry said that all possibilities are being examined and final decisions will be announced once the share disposal process is launched in cooperation with the HFSF and the consultants running the project. © 2024 Business Daily | halland75
24/1/2024 22:30 | advance payment guarantee meaning : .."An advance payment guarantee mitigates a buyer’s [= the grant provider's] prepayment risk. 24/1/2024 21:18 | Hi profit7, I think news of the bank loan approval arrives next month, they would have been thrashing it all out long before it was RNS'd last week. Not only that, but once the bank approval is complete, shortly after that I think a POD agreement will be announced...This is what Davinder said in the Stock Box interview, and when he says "Prospective financial partner", I think it was Piraeus Bank they had on their wishlist all along. "Working with our prospective financial partner in regards to the drafting of the POD agreements. The financial partner will look at each POD as a separate business unit, the financial partner will then make changes to each agreement as it sees fit to place within the lending model we hope to secure, then those contracts go off to be agreed". A rich stream of news is not far off! IMO. | halland75

24/1/2024 06:43 | Comedy, IMO I think the PB loan is already a done deal and I think it will be approved. Besides yesterday's good news, if this is included in the PB loan.... "The firm added that the credit facilities would provide Letters of guarantee for the advanced payment of Greek domestic grants for which Hellenic has already applied". This is the takeaway line... “Advanced payment of Greek grants”. All this will make the Riverfort funding obsolete. 👍 | halland75
23/1/2024 16:08 | Comedy - Most of the EU grants are paid in tranches (like business loans with banks), meaning an initial payment is provided to proceed, followed by the remaining amount when the project for which you are applying for the grant is achieved. | skurwiel
