I would have thought anybody here on the BB and holding HBOS would know the timetable of the combined group start date!...divi seekers are out now!...

I hold HBOS shares, which will obviously transfer to Lloyds in due course. What happens re:- dividend payments ?
Do I then get Lloyds Dividends and what is the date for the payout ?

HBos and Lloyds finish trading next Friday 16th and new LBG starts Mon 19th

question ladies and gentleman .. assuming the deal goes ahead as planned, how long should i expect to wait between the end of HBOS trading and the start of trading in the new Lloyds group. ie how long will it take the market to convert my HBOS holding into a Lloyds group holding.

Bloomberg article is about extension of reporting new short positions. It is not about extending ban on short selling.

Thanks Unicorn I saw that earlier,I kind of hoped the email meant extention as it was up till now.
Have read the email twice but its not specific and only analyst speculation.

69: Look at the chart today - Trend is up today - FACT, so why not buy low sell high. Sounds simple when you know how. Just like shorts sell high buy low, but at the mo thats illegal in this share.

HBOS & LloydsTSB trading at "about the correct offer price". i.e With Lloyds at 120p (say) and as you get 0.605 for each HBOS share, this equates to a price of 72.6p for HBOS.

dont forget we all lost a lot as well as lloy holders quiet rightly swapped for hbos to gain 10%.It kindddd of backfired as lloy went down and naturally hboos got stuck.
Onwards and upwards now !!!!!!!
