04/7/2024 10:40 | On a lighter note, heard on the grapevine that JW has been heard singing 'Moneys too tight to mention' by Simply Red & 'Holding out for a hero' by Bonnie Tyler. | ![]() john mcinnes wood
03/7/2024 21:57 | Compulsory chokey time for CFOs who don't or can't file on time would flush out these chancers. | ![]() sonofapeach
02/7/2024 09:44 | I think you'll find that British people own and/or control a huge amount of world assets compared to the amount of British assets owned by non British people. Obviously we need to come up with definitions of this. Would British billionaires living in Monaco count? What exactly is a British asset? Would BP count where almost all it's assets reside out with UK borders? Riverstone are not even owners of HARL (yet), they lent them money. I think you are just very confused about how capital structures work. | ![]() loglorry1
01/7/2024 16:40 | And there lies the problem everything in this Country is foreign owned, UK plc own SFA | ![]() john henry
01/7/2024 16:21 | >Best Riverstone take control of H&W Why do Labour care who owns HARL? The government collect their taxes on profits and are far more likely to have secured jobs if the balance sheet is sorted by Riverstone swapping their debt to equity. | ![]() loglorry1
01/7/2024 14:38 | And the winner is :- | ![]() skinny
01/7/2024 14:35 | Riverstone money was used to upgrade and get the ports operational employing 1000 peeps Best Riverstone take control of H&WI'm sure Labour will love that :-) all for the sake of acting guarantor to 200M | ![]() john henry
01/7/2024 14:29 | Labour won't spend public money bailing out US billionaires. Riverstone are the direct 100% beneficiaries of a bailout. They will loose loads on their loan if not bailed out and will probably be repaid at par if the Gov does supportvthe refi. It's as simple as that. | ![]() loglorry1
01/7/2024 14:00 | If Labour get in, likely, I wouldn't imagine their first act will be to fritter away public funds on this junk. They'll be trying to at least look as if they're a financially responsible government. | ![]() owenski

01/7/2024 13:03 | They've had 6 months to agree how to recognise Revenue BUT have strung it out until the actual deadline AND days before the General Election. They've immediately suggested 'it's actually all okay now with the Auditors' but have to allow them an extra week beyond the General Election to finalise official Accounts. THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT GOVERNMENT APPETITE TO PROVIDE £200M... WHICH HAS FAILED/BEEN DELAYED FOR OVER 6 MONTHS. THE BOARD HAVE SIMPLY BEEN CHANCING THEIR ARM HOPING FOR A GOVERNMENT TURNAROUND IN SENTIMENT OR A DIFFERENT GOVERNMENT (LIKE LABOUR) THAT THEY HOPE WILL SUPPORT THE 'LABOURING MAN ON THE STREET'. It's BOOM or BUST time right now, this month and will only go rapidly & significantly in 1 of 2 very distinct directions... GLATH | ![]() supearich
01/7/2024 12:54 | 50% increase in the hirings wage bill too on top of a work force that's just demanded a wage increase on the back of threatened industrial action. A financial black hole, which is why these industries folded in the first place. I notice all the ramping clowns have disappeared. | ![]() owenski
01/7/2024 12:44 | I can't imagine an auditor can sign off the accounts as a going concern unless HARL can convince them that they will get their £200m loan guaranteed by the Gov. I suppose they might be convinced since HARL are paying their bill but who in their right mind would back a loan to these clowns? | ![]() loglorry1
01/7/2024 12:11 | MUGS BEEN HAD OVER IN THIS LOLOLOLOLLLLLL !!!!!!!YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN!!!!!!!! SHARES GONE FOREVER | ![]() pdud
01/7/2024 08:00 | Look how many companies suspended today due to accounts. Unfortunately auditors in this country are over loaded. | ![]() babbler
01/7/2024 07:50 | Glad sold few weeks ago & bought RNK | blackhorse23
01/7/2024 07:28 | Complete and utter shambles. The directors should be ashamed of themselves but they don't care. All this time they've had and they still can't get the accounts signed off. Also I don't share their optimism to get the finance signed off - how long has that been going for already. | ![]() norfolkngood1
01/7/2024 07:10 | If I could be bothered I would go back to the days after they won that large contract and I warned everyone here that this company would only ever make huge losses and people called be unhinged. But I can't be bothered. This company is in its final days. | ![]() mortal1ty
28/6/2024 21:05 | At least Tomco had the decency to post an RNS. JW has ostracised shareholders even more & left a dark cloud over the company for employees. What does he care though? | ![]() john mcinnes wood
28/6/2024 19:58 | Well Groat has managed to suspend trading today on his other company (Tomco) for failing to file. He could be going for a double. | ![]() norfolkngood1 |
