03/7/2014 11:02 | Eee, bye 'eck :-) up nice today - good biking press over the weekend and trading update next week - bring it on :-) CR | cockneyrebel
03/7/2014 08:24 | Just 4 British riders will be on the start line for this year's tour. Historically that wouldn't have been bad at all, but recent years have seen us spoilt. Wiggins is the most obvious of those missing. He is of course officially injured but that's another story...Many of the others who would have made their various teams are also in poor shape health-wise. David Millar (age 37) was not selected for what would be his final tour; and the GB national champions jersey will not be on display since Peter Kennaugh was not selected by team sky. Huge disapointment for both. The list of riders that do start for GB however is something to behold: Double Olypic gold medalist Gerraint Thomas; current champ. Chris Froome and record-stage (sprinter) winner Mark Cavendish are all well known. Making up the four is Simon Yates a 21 year old who IMO could one day win the tour (big statement but he's a big talent). Should be good show! | thorpematt
02/7/2014 14:25 | Tour de France kicks off this weekend in Yorkshire - enjoy next week with that and the trading update imo. CR | cockneyrebel

30/6/2014 08:19 | I bought back in on the last results Kendo. Tour de France starts Monday, any retail sales weakness in Q1 is in the results now imo - part due to different easter timing. Cars selling well and a great summer for Tour de France and Commonwealth Games - all good for bike sales imo. All imo/dyor etc CR | cockneyrebel
27/6/2014 11:16 | Yes - thin volumes all round! | skinny
27/6/2014 11:04 | Cheers - that will get upped at the trading update imo. MM games today - after yesterday's rally on strong volume we're down 5 today on less volume than yesterday's closing trade :-) Funny that they go ex divi soon and the trading update ah :-) CR | cockneyrebel
