This from the last results - big momentum in the last Q - should see HFD ahead for this trading update imo:

"1019 GMT [Dow Jones]--Halfords (HFD.LN) has delivered an "eye wateringly" strong exit to the year from its cycling category and with a summer of cycling ahead and weak car maintenance comparables, this good momentum in sales should continue and more than offset management's increased cost guidance, says Investec Securities. Investec upgrades its FY15 pretax profit estimate by around 7% to GBP75.8 million following results, adding that it sees the valuation of the stock as undemanding. Meanwhile, the 3-year recovery strategy is running ahead of expectations, and given it is still in its infancy the full benefits are yet to be felt, adds Investec. Investec rates the stock at buy. Seen the price of Boardman Bikes?



Now HFD own them, imagine what they could do getting the volumes up - increase margins and sell a premium brand.

This is one of the stars for HFD in the future imo.
