Incorrect on all counts

Takeover Panel

The Panel will normally give its consent under Rule 21.1(a) if:
(i) the taking of the proposed action is conditional on the offer being withdrawn or lapsing (see also Rule 21.1(g));
(ii) the offeror consents to the taking of the proposed action;
(iii) holders of shares carrying more than 50% of the voting rights of the offeree company state in writing that they approve the taking of the proposed action and would vote in favour of any resolution to that effect proposed at a general meeting;

ITP would have to restart imo before any sale. One of the few things I agree on with Dogface!

If there had been any enquiries thay would have just been tentative.. Otherwise under market rules they would not be able to do the buyback...

I think one day we will just wake up and there will be a 7am rns saying contracts in place, ITP pumping to restart tommorow! It will come out of the blue...

You know what these dune rats are like. Tea, smoke, bit of yap yap yap... What it needs I reckon is a few brown envelopes to get things going ;) It wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't hinted at the meeting...

These sorts of deals are done in in the desert under a tent imo.

I think the news when it comes will come out of nowhere, not at some announced meeting!

mmt1 - surely you were disappointed with that video report from Caggins?
Urgent meeting called but no agenda and no progress whatsoever, wasn't expecting much but thought there might be some little snippet on the way forward.

I think he was just setting expectations.. I never thought it would only take one meeting to resolve the contract issues. These things always take time even in the West. The fact the IOC's are at the table though finally, as opposed to just the KRG and ICG talking imo is a good sign. There is probably also backroom communication going on in regard to the small print...

I just hope they will continue to stick together, it worries me when he has said a few times that each company can negotiate separately.

The ICG are probably trying to divide and conquer imo. Horsetrading!

Caggins latest youtube offering indicates (to me at least) the meeting was a bit of a sham, a photo opportunity without even a proper agenda.
No closer to agreement than before the urgent meeting was called, unless I've missed something because it's hard work listening to him drone on for 5 mins.

I am expecting our daily production to have increased, not sure by how much. Hoping price per bopd has also. Anyone have any predictions?

Walleye are a very sophisticated US hedge fund that use super clever algorithmic stuff.
They are still short ( maybe yesterday they got out some more that 175,000 buy rather suspicious ) around 1.6m shares.
May be less after yesterday.
Highly unlikely they are naked short - almost certainly hedged /long/working for client long.

However 5.5 days left of buyback and still 56% cash left - 5.6m bucks

If they need to be out by AGM in a week as I think anybody short needs to be .....well
Could have a Porsche/VW moment..............

Pipe open is it and the sludge/quality oil crawling through it at sarah's $156 a barrel?

All that is required for real progress to be made is for Erbil/Epicure to give sight to Baghdad of all the docs they've requested and not samples as they don't prove anything.

Transparency is the way forward.

It could be that Erbil/Epicure would be in an even worse position if the contracts are torn up as has been put forward as a reason for non compliance.

Based on the current position the pipe isn't going to open soon or imminently and therefore the share price is way over the top imho.

Just saying and always happy to help.
