12/6/2024 19:40 | Without corrective action and investment, 10% well depletion p.a. Assuming no other downhole issues arise. Keep up the good KISS work. | broadford bay

12/6/2024 19:29 | Any legal action would be against the KRG and is unlikely. The people profiting most from the current situation are the Barzanis and the Talibanis so you can rest assured they won't be stopping local sales. | habshan

12/6/2024 19:24 | I'd be fearful that any legal action against the KRG would somehow lead to local sales of GKP crude being no longer available or at least reduced due to unforeseen circumstances. | hangthedj

12/6/2024 19:21 | And at 60kbpd we'd be generating $225 million a year WITHOUT any further field development. ------ Yes but only whilst recovering historical costs and that isn't an ongoing situation. | hangthedj

12/6/2024 19:16 | mmt, exactly, very succinctly put. We can carry on producing up to 60kbpd if required and generating up to $225 million a year simply by maintaining and using the wells and infrastructure that we've already built. | habshan
12/6/2024 18:54 | The price is £103 per share for GKP. Get ready. | johnbuysghost

12/6/2024 18:37 | Broadford - "but what about the expected Capex for dealing with field depletion, what about further field development....." What on earth are you wittering on about now, we're talking about LOCAL SALES and while we're on LOCAL SALES there will be NO field development dealing with sour gas or any of that stuff. How many times have you been told that while the pipeline is shut the development programme is suspended. We already have enough wells to produce up to 60kbpd and enough cash flow to keep them maintained and do what's necessary. And at 60kbpd we'd be generating $225 million a year WITHOUT any further field development. And under the current circumstances the KRG couldn't give a toss about flared gas. | habshan
12/6/2024 18:26 | "Subject to local sales demand and considering the Company’s limited capital programme, gross production potential is currently between 45,000 – 48,000 bopd following recent optimisations to well performance." And a few weeks before that:- "Subject to local sales demand and considering our limited capital programme, gross production potential is currently between 43,000 - 45,000 bopd." So in a few weeks they increased production potential from 45 to 48kbpd in order to satisfy demand. With the current cash flow it's straighforward to increase that to 50kbpd and beyond to 60kbpd. They've already produced at over 55kbpd and well Sh-18 will take that to 60k if required. | habshan

12/6/2024 18:21 | Also bear in mind GKP won't be entitled to 36% (under the current PSC terms) on an ongiong basis as that figure (36%) is taking into account historical cost recovery which we're entitled to atm. | hangthedj

12/6/2024 18:20 | Ha! $188 pa net to GKP you say - but what about the expected Capex for dealing with field depletion, what about further field development, what about dealing with the sour gas, what about when international prices (mirrored immediately by local prices) fall thru the floor?. Did you forget, or is KISS your approach? Sorry, forgot to mention the expected Dividends. | broadford bay |
