16/6/2024 18:50 | lol, lmao even. Bigdump, I'm solidly in the green thank you very much. Buying in bigly at 90p has done wonders for my position. Whilst first-hand experience can be valuable, it is often not a good idea to extrapolate that and assume everything is the same. You are but a single data-point of extreme stupidity. An outlier of misery. Our experiences differ substantially.Do you ever wonder if you'd just got your money and set it on fire, you'd have had more fun with it? | ![]() adamrugen1066

16/6/2024 18:31 | Habby, again, and not for the first time, you have deliberately misinterpreted the whole sequence of events; you are not in the loop, not even close. The meeting was initially called for discussions with the KRI government. As APIKUR currently have some say in KRG oil matters, they (KRG) requested the presence of the trade association to help explain & clarify matters. The government conditionally agreed - and forcefully requested that full supporting documentation be brought along and presented - well, we know what happened there. At no time was it ever intended, and nor did it so transpire, to enter into any sort of negotiation with APIKUR. That is still the case - APIKUR will be no discussion partner for SOMO and Baghdad. The meeting ended with a very frosty laying out, again, of the requirements to be met for any further meetings. APIKUR have done the group of contractors no favours, with their PR being seen as unduly assertive by Baghdad and it is now questionable how long that status quo will last. Al-Sudani has made it clear he wants fully clarity in this KRI crude export situation - the Barzani interests, and their good friends in the US, are in the crosshairs. Your statement that Baghdad are in a corner is very wide of the mark, the trade association and KRG/MNR are the ones now boxed in a corner. Initial talks aimed at a new 2025 pipeline agreement talks with TR have already taken place without the KRG. Your simplistic assertions of money being lost etc have no relevance for the Iraq government, nor for these discussions. Baghdad is already receiving quantities of Kurdish crude as partial offset for the salary issue - less than the 400Mbopd of course, but the point has been seen to be made. | ![]() broadford bay

16/6/2024 15:48 | "Baghdad in a corner are they? Day 450 and they don't appear to be concerned about the time its taking." Yes Sarah, Baghdad are in a corner which is why they called an "urgent" meeting. They're losing $23 billion a year by not agreeing to APIKUR's requirements and having to pay the salaries with nothing in return. In addition their shipping costs to Europe and North America have almost trebled because they're having to go round Africa, a round trip increasing from 34 to 84 days with the Oil Minister speaking last week of the need to diversify export routes. A round trip from Ceyhan to southern Europe takes 8 days. Meanwhile GKP is selling some 50kbpd at circa $29 a barrel so is making around $15.7 million a month or $188 million a year paid in advance direct into their UK bank, a situation most oil companies could only dream of. So Baghdad are in a corner while the IOCs don't need to be concerned about the time it's taking, they are quite content to keep the pipeline shut and Baghdad's feet to the fire for as long as they need to. | ![]() habshan

16/6/2024 13:59 | Hey scotty snowflake it day 450 of no pipe!!! You tried to calm your fellow gullible suckers here by saying it would be open in a couple of days!!! Experience in the oil world you say, lol. Harvard education? Did you mean Halford's? And day 168 of you telling all here it would be open "soon". But there again the budget agreement according to you and sarah was done years ago and the Oil law would closely follow it!!! Baghdad in a corner are they? Day 450 and they don't appear to be concerned about the time its taking. Could it be that they are punishing Erbil for daring to go for a divorce? Divorces are expensive aren't they? johnylady that sort of thing is your domain and you will need to be doing it for a long time methinks. Happy to help:-) | ![]() bigdog5

16/6/2024 13:07 | Not at all rhetorical. I do wonder how our P/E compares and if any discount due to political risks (if they are still valid??) has been correctly priced.I do think that the Turkish development road project hasn't been priced in yet and probably won't be until it is sufficiently mature.
