09/11/2023 17:44 | Here you are sarah. a) Absolutely nothing wrong in that. Just proves to all that they're willing to listen. b) And if Baghdad don't get what they want how long before Apikur go bust. c) No more than lip service. The hosts are effectively a busted flush and another $7b in debt. d) Baghdad have acknowledged that. Wait for the outcome. e) Baghdad have acknowledged that. Why would Baghdad pay? Add it to the hosts debts. f) LOL. Turkey flush with cash are they, lol. g) It isn't concerning Baghdad as Kirkuk oil is going elsewhere. They aren't losing a dollar. | ![]() bigdog5
09/11/2023 17:43 | From the Dubai meeting - "As the most expedient way to resume exports through the Iraq-Türkiye Pipeline (ITP), APIKUR proposed that SOMO negotiate crude oil purchase/sale contracts with APIKUR members,” It seems that that proposal is already in use as it's how Crescent (Dana Gas) have been selling their gas, so how can the ICG/SOMO refuse:- Draw Media - The Kurdistan Oil Industry Association (KOIA) wants to sell its share of oil from the Kurdistan Region to the Iraqi Oil Ministry and SOMO, just as the UAE's Crescent Company sold gas from the Kormor field to the Iraqi Oil Ministry. | ![]() habshan
09/11/2023 17:24 | Congratulations sarah that was all classic drivel. Those that send begging letters have control, lol, lol. Apikur will tell Baghdad exactly what they want and unless they get it no oil will see the pipe, lol, lol. Do you really think that would concern SOMO/Baghdad, lol. They have taken control of the Kurds oil and gas industry, the host are bust and are having to borrow from Baghdad and weren't even at the negotiations!!! Your BS knows no boundaries. You really should sit down when typing as that might just stem the flow of the shyte you post. So many similarities with RW who managed to get naff all correct as well. You suckers need to hope that Baghdad don't pull the plug on local sales. I note that the $6pb got another mention. Just how much per barrel will be required in order to pay all the massive divis you suckers expect to receive, lol. | ![]() bigdog5
09/11/2023 17:16 | well I'm finding it difficult to believe Atrush has a pipeline for local sales and Shaikan has a pipeline too. They can't possibly be building pipelines to accommodate local sales in my opinion. So I am suggesting that somehow the export pipeline within Kurdistan region is being used for local sales but just don't know how it's being done. Interesting topic tho | ![]() hangthedj
09/11/2023 16:55 | Habshan, not like you to miss this one, there's another mystery pipeline. It's irrelevant to your question, the answer to which is that for local sales the producers don't all produce into the same pipeline. If you know that they don't then why did you ask the question. dj - "I'm trying to understand how all the different quality of oil going into same pipe for local sales can generate different prices? Surely once it enters the pipeline all the crude oil is mixed together..." | ![]() habshan
09/11/2023 16:27 | The producers aren't producing into a communal pipeline --------- from SNM rns The Atrush operator restarted production on November 7, 2023, with sales to a local refinery via pipeline --------- Habshan, not like you to miss this one, there's another mystery pipeline. | ![]() hangthedj

09/11/2023 15:36 | Further to the above. There with a senior delegation to address financial issues. I can't imagine that the Dubai meeting won't come up. Kurdistan24 - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani receives Iraqi Prime Minister Sudani in Erbil. Iraqi PM Mohammed Shia’ Sudani on Thursday evening was welcomed at the Erbil. International Airport by PM Minister Masrour Barzani. ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Sudani on Thursday arrived in Erbil to discuss efforts to address the financial issues between Baghdad and Erbil. 09/11/2023 15:31 | Good find hiddendepths. Also on Kurdistan 24: hxxps://www.kurdista Well, they're not meeting to discuss the weather. More likely a deal getting agreed for re-starting the oil exports. | ![]() solarfire73
09/11/2023 15:18 | "Rudaw Digital Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani has arrived in Erbil, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) said on Wednesday. 09/11/2023 15:06 | dj - "I'm trying to understand how all the different quality of oil going into same pipe for local sales can generate different prices? Surely once it enters the pipeline....." Where local sales are concerned there is no "the pipeline". GKP tell us that they are piping oil direct into a local refinery, but what that pipeline is or where it came from hasn't been explained, but that is the exception, everyone else is using trucks. The producers are individually selling their different quality oils to local buyers on an "ad hoc" basis where those buyers simply turn up with their trucks at the individual producers loading facility that they have somewhere on their field, they then pay up in accordance with the quality of the oil that comes from that particular field load up and take it to wherever it's going to be refined. The producers aren't producing into a communal pipeline. When people on here refer to "the pipeline" they're referring to the export pipeline which has not been in use since March. The different grades of oil from the different fields that goes into the export pipeline first go through a blending facility to produce the "Kurdish Blend" and it is that that is loaded at Ceyhan for the international market. | ![]() habshan
09/11/2023 14:39 | I'm trying to understand how all the different quality of oil going into same pipe for local sales can generate different prices? Surely once it enters the pipeline all the crude oil is mixed together and you get same product whether you pay for Shaikan or Tawke. Or are the producers somehow segregating their oil in the pipeline before reaching the outlet for the buyer? Seems a bit hard to take in... to me at least. | ![]() hangthedj

09/11/2023 12:52 | It is likely GKP are at 50-55 k bopd now and that's $10-12m FCF /Profits /month. At $ 30 a barrel. IF they are also benefitting from higher prices (and they compare well to peers on price attained according to their CFO )these could be 10-20% higher still. Excellent - nice to be making $ 12- 14 m a month before exports resume and those [profits will triple. . ENDGAME very near. Fill boots IMO ...I long since have . 09/11/2023 10:06 | So if all the kurdy producers are now on full production but selling into the "local market"? Whose market have they taken and where has the oil from the original suppliers of the "local market" being sent?? Maybe exported via Basra? | ![]() tygarreg

09/11/2023 09:45 | I expect higher pricing as clearly buying crude at a discount of 50-60% to market means plenty of buyers and competitive mplace | ![]() doctortakeover
09/11/2023 09:30 | So Genel have been increasing production steadily and are currently selling at mid $30's USD whereas in our last update we were also increasing production but only getting c$30 USD. I am hoping that a reasonable inference is that GKP have been able to lift pricing and production since our last update here. We were making plenty of free cash flow then so this is looking good to me. I am also happy by the Iraqi confirmation that we should be paid for previous production. I did forecast an early December reopening of the pipeline - I am now hopeful that I was not far off. GLA | ![]() buyingacastle1 |
