In the recent interview ( it’s on the company website in Investor/presentations) the CEO noted they were gradually raising production.
On the gradient of production growth, they may well now be at 50-55 k bopd.
That represents 10-12 m monthly profits and the same cash generation.
Not bad at all.

I was reliably informed years ago that he sold his shares to fund his lifestyle and Tower.

As for your "what's changed" its all the issues that myself and a few others have pointed out that you gullible suckers chose to ignore or invent excuses for. If the field was even a fraction of what you suckers fantasise about it would have been bought years ago.

It is really good that they have income while their hosts sort things out, I just hope that Turkey`s waterpower makes them come to their senses. How they hope to attract global capital without a hospitable environment beggars belief.

The benefits of our 2022 investment programme and progress on executing the Jurassic scope of the ShaikanField Development Plan contributed to a material increase in gross average production to around 53,500 bopdin March 2023, hitting a new record of over 55,000 bopd in the last few days, an important milestone for GKP.In addition, we are pleased that the 2022 CPR has confirmed the Shaikan Field's significant growth potentialand gross 2P + 2C reserves and resources of 817 MMstb, with 100% reserves replacement since the 2020CPR.

Asher was/is a shrewd ,active investor so his opinion is worth noting but as to his shares now that is very difficult to know as the Bermudan share register is a bit opaque, nor easily accessible to get a true picture at any one point in time.

50 to 55k is a tad optimistic. We never averaged that before.
