Imagine how enormous they must be from constantly sitting in front of a computer for all these years. Afraid to walk away in case someone posted something positive. Not to mention mentally challenged. Not long left in this world I would think.

Good afternoon very concerned and worried gullible suckers on Day 222 of the pipe not taking quality oil and the sludge.

Klassic writes:-

"There will be no long term future for us until Ceyhan gets the black stuff oozing through the desert pipeline".

I can't agree with that on the basis that shaiCON's sludge is currently going local and could possibly continue to do so even after the pipe opens, if and when it does. However what price the sludge would continue to attract is open to debate.

Klassic continues with:-

"I note that even Doggy is now ramping up the speculation with suggestions of a share price spike or company merger. I’ve long suspected that he is one of us- a gullible sucker".

If and when the pipe opens it's totally logical to believe it will have an immediate affect on the SP's of all the Kurdistan producers for several reasons which ought to be obvious even to you morons. I've been mentioning a figure of £1.50 for several weeks and when the share price was much lower. The share price could rise much higher than that on the pure relief of investors in Kurd producers.

Also I've been posting that I believe a merger is much more likely for many years. The hosts have always preferred that event and I would expect that to suit SOMO/Baghdad as well. With new terms to be negotiated/imposed it could well be that the Kurd producers will be "forced" into such a move in order to cut the costs of what will be a totally different Oil Industry structure with SOMO dictating all.

Always happy to assist you clueless suckers:-)

Its easy. Pay the Kurd oilers what they are due and honour the existing contracts then everyone can move on.

Of course the Turks are using water as a bargaining chip, and why wouldn't they. It's an obvious and powerful card, they want Baghdad to stop faffing about and get the oil flowing:-

Today - "MP: Turkey is using water as a bargaining chip for oil export resumption and PKK expulsion.

Shafaq News / Member of the Parliamentary Agriculture and Water Committee, Ibtisam Al-Hilali, confirmed today, Wednesday, a significant decrease in the water releases from Turkey to the Tigris River. She pointed out that the Turkish government is using the water issue as leverage to re-export Iraqi oil through the Ceyhan port pipeline and to withdraw the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) forces from Iraqi territories."

She pointed out that the Turkish government is using the water issue as leverage to re-export Iraqi oil through the Ceyhan port pipeline and to withdraw the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) forces from Iraqi territories.

Al-Hilali stated, "After the visit of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani to Ankara, the Turkish side increased the water releases to the Tigris River in April last year, but then the releases decreased to a shallow level."

She added that "Turkey did not respond to Iraq's calls to increase water releases and instead has started to use the water issue as a pressure card to re-export Iraqi oil through its territory and to withdraw PKK forces from Iraqi territories."

Al-Hilali emphasized that "what Turkey is doing in this regard violates the laws and agreements between Baghdad and Ankara, and it also violates international agreements of the United Nations."

Minister: KRG will commence salary distribution next week

Shafaq News / The Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) and Religious Affairs in the Kurdistan Region (KRI), Beshtawan Sadiq, expected on Wednesday that the regional government (KRG) would begin distributing salaries to employees and workers in the public sector next week.
Sadiq stated that he had a morning conversation with the Regional Minister of Finance and Economy, Awat Sheikh Janab. The latter informed him that the distribution of salaries to employees and those receiving them would commence next week.
It is noteworthy that KRG faces difficulties in disbursing salaries to employees, retirees, and those receiving monthly financial grants through the social welfare network, following the federal government's victory on March 25th of last year, in a case brought before the International Chamber of Commerce's arbitration body in Paris, which ordered the halt of oil exports from KRI through the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
The Iraqi government recently approved loans to KRG to finance the salaries for the last three months of the current year, with a monthly amount of 700 billion dinars. A loan was sent at the end of September, but it was delayed in the second month.
At the end of October, KRG decided to send a delegation to Baghdad to settle the cash loan amount agreed with the federal government for paying employees' salaries. However, the government's spokesperson, Beshwa Hormani, announced yesterday that the visit was unnecessary after the Kurdistan Ministry of Finance submitted a "budget review" report.
Furthermore, KRG’s Ministry of Finance and Economy announced on Sunday, October 29th, that it had sent a budget review report for the last three months to Baghdad.
According to a statement from the ministry, the review of July, August, and September was sent to the federal Ministry of Finance, signed by KRG’s Minister of Finance and Economy. The report included all revenues and expenditures for the mentioned three months in KRI, with clear data and figures.

Iraq Moves Further Out Of U.S.’s Influence With New Russia And China Deals

By Simon Watkins - Oct 31, 2023, 6:00 PM CDT
Plans to increase Iraq’s oil production and then to send that extra output to China in the first instance moved up a gear in last week’s Cabinet meeting
At the same Cabinet meeting last week, it was also agreed that Iraq should now give its full support to rolling out all aspects of the wide-ranging ‘Iraq-China Framework Agreement’.
A key part of both deals is that China has first refusal on all oil, gas, and petrochemicals projects that come up in Iraq for the duration of the deal.

Iraq
With the U.S.’s current primary Middle East focus being on trying to deter a widening of the Israel-Hamas War, China and Russia have been busy cementing their influence elsewhere in the region, most recently in Iraq. This remains a key target for Beijing and Moscow to expand their presence for three main reasons. First, it could easily become the world’s top producer of crude oil within a relatively short time if the endemic corruption in its hydrocarbons sector was curtailed. Second, its geographical positioning in the heart of the Middle East make it a vital link in building a network of logistical connections from the east of Eurasia into the west of Europe. And third, together with Iran under whose enduring influence its operates, it forms the core of the spiritual, political, military, and cultural Shia Crescent. A flurry of activity in the past couple of weeks involving Iraq, Russia, and China underline how seriously all these plans are moving forward.

Firstly, plans to increase Iraq’s oil production and then to send that extra output to China in the first instance moved up a gear in last week’s Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. At the meeting, a senior source who works closely with Iraq’s Oil Ministry exclusively told OilPrice.com last week, the Cabinet agreed to increase crude oil exports to China by 50 percent – from 100,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 150,000 bpd. It was also agreed that the daily production capacity from Iraq’s largest oil field – Rumaila, featuring partners BP (47.6 percent), China National Petroleum Corporation (46.4 percent), and Iraq’s State Oil Marketing Organization (6 percent) – is increased from 1.3 million bpd to 1.4 million bpd by the end of this year. This is part of Iraq’s plan to increase its oil production to 8 million bpd by 2028. As analysed in depth in my new book on the new global oil market order, there is no fundamental reason why such an increase cannot be achieved – even 12 million bpd is perfectly feasible, given Iraq’s oil resources – with the only constraint being the pervasive corruption in its oil and gas sector that has hampered such progress for years.
