Production was at 33,000 bopd over 6 weeks ago.

In the recent interview ( it’s on the company website in Investor/presentations) the CEO noted they were gradually raising production.

On the gradient of production growth, they may well now be at 50-55 k bopd.

That represents $ 10-12 m monthly profits and the same cash generation.

$ 140m annualised profits and FCF on local sales alone..........

Not bad at all.

Tuesday, November 07, 2023The brief price rally triggered by OPEC+'s extension of production cuts until end-2023 has swiftly evaporated as a string of bad news from China turned overall sentiment back to bearish. Even though Chinese oil imports remain robust and October demonstrated another month-on-month increase to 11.53 million b/d, the prospects of quotas running out and weaker refinery margins have been the main driver of ICE Brent declining to $84 per barrel.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) acting Minister of Natural Resources Kamal Mohammed Salih on Tuesday met with US Consul General Mark Stroh in Erbil, according to a statement from the KRG Ministry of Natural Resources.

The US Consul General expressed his country’s desire to further invest in the electricity, energy, and oil sectors in the Kurdistan Region.

Regarding the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region, the US Consul General said that oil cessation has harmed the revenues and public sector of the Kurdistan Region.

"Resolving revenue issues and passing the oil and gas bill will be among Washington's policy and agenda priorities," Stroh said.

Mr. Mohammed expressed his gratitude to the top US diplomat for the role of the US in its efforts to resume oil exports and expand the industry.

The KRG, Turkey, and Iraq have participated in several rounds of negotiations since then to resume exports, whose loss is estimated to be about $7 billion.

Oil companies and several countries, including the US and Russia, have previously called for the resumption of oil exports.

Before the halt, the Kurdish region was independently exporting 450,000 barrels of oil per day through the pipeline, which was also sending another 100,000 barrels of Iraqi oil from Kirkuk Province.

For the Kurdistan Region to receive a 12.6 percent share of Iraq’s budget annually, it has to sell 400,000 barrels of oil per day via SOMO, per the country’s budget law.

Kurdistan America Mark Straw Kurdistan Petroleum Iraq SOMO
News Center (K24) - The US Consul General in the Kurdistan Region announced that they are closely following the process of starting the export of oil to the Kurdistan Region.

The Minister of Electricity and Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Kemal Mihemed Salih, welcomed the American Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, Mark Straw.

According to the statement of the Ministry, the Consul General of the United States expressed his pleasure for investing in the fields of electricity, energy and oil in the Kurdistan Region.

Regarding the start of the Kurdistan Region's oil export, Straw announced that the suspension of oil had a negative impact on the Kurdistan Region's income and public sector.

He also said: "Solving the revenue problem and removing Iraq's oil and gas law is one of the priorities of politics and Washington's agenda."

The Minister of Electricity and Natural Resources thanked the United States for its efforts to start the export of Kurdistan oil and to pass the federal oil and gas law in cooperation with the Kurdistan Region.

Since March 25, the export of oil from the Kurdistan Region through Ceyhan Port in Turkey has stopped.

According to the agreement between Erbil and Baghdad, the Kurdistan Region must deliver 400,000 barrels of oil per day to Somo, and in return, the financial rights of the Kurdistan Region will be provided by Baghdad.

"Of course he's going to use "potential" because he's got naff all else to point to!!!"

He's got plenty else to point to Sarah.

Not long ago he decided that RNSs such as the one below should be reinstated to the website so that the whole world can see them and so that existing and potential investors can refer to them, when he uses the term "ENORMOUS POTENTIAL" this is what he's referring to:-

13/12/11 - "Gulf Keystone today provides an update on its ongoing exploration and appraisal programme in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, which includes the Shaikan block, a major discovery with independently audited gross oil-in-place volumes of between 8 billion barrels to 13.4 billion barrels calculated on the P90 to P10 basis with a mean value of 10.5 billion barrels."

As the field is developed those "oil in place" volumes will be proven up and become "reserves" and that in turn means that the CPR will be revised and updated accordingly.

The ex Iraqi Oil Minister understands how it works which is why only last year he said that if Sarsang Atrush and Shaikan were to become one, it would be the third biggest oilfield in the world with between 25 and 66 billion barrels of recoverable oil.

That's how it works Sarah and is clearly something that you know nothing about.

johnyladyboy runs a business providing tricks for fellow gullible suckers in her Merc on Clapham Common as a result of being wiped out 2016. Just show her your "golden tickets".

Yes sarah, all the CEO's have been saying the same thing about potential for 14 years!!! Rather strange that zero of the potential has been proved innit:-)

Oil companies don't buy "snapshots" of CPR's, they buy proved up oil. Companies don't buy enormous potential as that's classed as "might be there but we have zero proof".

Fourteen years on with 18 wells and the CPR's have continuously been updated in that time but the Reserve numbers have been falling which has forced them into adding in the very iffy "resource" numbers to make the numbers look better. Isn't that strange, lol. Of course he's going to use "potential" because he's got naff all else to point to!!! Remember Ratners do you sarah? So is he likely to do the same sarah?

Even after all these years sarah you don't see that you're being taken for a clueless thick fantasist who is forced into making excuses and inventing BS. What a moron you are sarah. You need to have another read of RW's notes in order to help with your fantasy and BS.

I see that the share price had another good day!!! Market helping the accumulators in their 14 year quest were they, lol, lol.
