Thank you hearts...

I think I see why he is being obtuse- its 9.38bn...Not 12.8bn...The point was it was *OIP* and not *reserves of 9.38bn...IE a TYPO.

Oh dear.

Now Nicebut says he got it from a list of mine "a few months back".

But he said that it was what GKP had published, and that it was wring because it was a typo.

Now he has changed his mind, because there is no such typo. That's why he cannot produce the purported document which contains the typo. And he now says that I said it.

I am beginning to wonder if he really understands these numbers.

EDIT: I have done two searches on this thread. The references to the "12.8 billion barrels of reserves typo" keep originating from Nicebut. The earliest I can find is from 4 February 2016. Eight months ago. It looks to me as if he keeps repeating it.

unfortunately it isn't a wind-up, the AAPG presentation of April 2014 posted on the site last week has been amended since.


I have downloaded a copy of it on wednesday 21 october and page 4 of the same presentation that says : "9.38 Billion BO Reserves"
They have now modified it to say : " 9.38 Billion BO Oil-in-Place

No, I`ve never posted *any* presentations- How could I have got it from there? Do you have no recollection of the presentation to Geologists that you or one of your mates posted, with the typo?

At 1.18p per share, market cap is £270,726,887. An elementary calculation obtained by multiplying the shares in issue 22,942,956,605 by 1.18p. The reason it is more than it was previously is because $525m of debt and new capital (£430.82m) has been swapped for shares.

JF did say, earlier this year, that Nadhsm Zahawi MP was doing a key job for GKP. I suppose some would laugh at that comment, but that's what he said.

What?

There was no "Joanna Southcott presentation".

He is unable to explain where the "12.8 billion barrels of Reserves" statement comes from because GKP never said it.
