This is what happens when you leave a muppet to M&A speculation with his own wealth.. the 'poison pill' does not exist here since it's existing equity investors not the acquirer getting diluted. The dilution is for the bonds that technically defaulted, which allows the bond holders to hold shareholders to a full pound of flesh. Nothing to do with a bidder. The fact that DNO bidded for post-restructure shows the dilution is not an impediment but a catalyst for suitors.

The second point is the restructure is already done. The new shares haven't reached individual accounts yet, but they are already legally authorized. Any bidder has to bid for the full authorized amount, so I don't know what Paul Carroll thinks he's waiting for ;)

Just waiting for the second shoe to drop. On his head.
