Right, I have orders from Captain Ben to start the Red Sub one liners of the day, so here goes:

Right Said Fred wrote the song 'Deeply Dippy' about john and the other deluded rampers on the GKP board - fact!

Yet even they had no idea just how dippy the people they were dealing with truly are!

"Dive dive, 200 fathoms Sir"

I never sold at 465p and have held the whole way down. (maybe a mistake in hindsight)

Has everyone remembered to take that stop loss off at £30 to stop the Chinese getting gulf on the cheap?

Hook, line and sinker.

Walking dead next week - the programme, not gulf investors... Actually, maybe both. In a way, the way people flocked to gulf was a bit like the 'terminal' I guess.

Anyway, Bob, don't forget to turn the light off. It's the same one you used over at Nighthawk.

The Crestal Energy presentation let the cat out of the bag, in my opinion.

Posting the link to it on here was rather like manna from heaven.

A gift from the Gods.

All the names revealed, or pretty easily established.

The so-called "Cornerstone assets" easily identified.

And last Monday's quite extraordinary MNR news release about a series of "investigations" put into context.

The MNR shows a bit of a pattern of doing things this way regarding Shaikan: in 2012, in 2014, and now again in 2016.

Of course, there is no oil in Shaikan. "nicebut" says there's no Porosity. It's worthless! Yeah, right. It seems that those behind Crestal Energy don't see it quite that way.

Just another mull. I'm not sure exactly where the cat is at the moment, for those who are interested. Out of the bag, clearly lol

Oilman

I'm in disbelief that this clown thinks he's a victim after the numerous lies he has told and his own stalking, goading, harassment and intimidation towards numerous individuals and their families.

Some people will get intimidated and walk away but there will be some that WILL respond, particularly if they have been told there is no outlet with the Police.

The fact that you suggested "Kozel" could go after shareholders who state the same about him as that as a judge show exactly how twisted to reality your mind is.

Yes joseki, but Jon hasn't done anything to help the situation.

All he has done is take salary and bonus and achieved nothing.
Same as the rest of the useless BOD.

ENQ have just started an OO - I think it's a buy given it will finance Kracken H1 2017 and sort long term debt. This is just a punt, but I might have a flutter at sub a penny on the dead cat bounce.

The 2017 bond problem was his millstone around the neck. He hoped for a sale well before now and regrettably that hasn't happened.

Well I've picked up a few this morning, not quite at 0.5p but had to settle with 1.48p.

You know . . . just in case Shaikan is worth a bit more than the current nowt ;-)

Roper, is it Ferrier's fault if muppets in the market couldn't foresee the problems faced by the bond financing? GKP was already falling since before Ferrier or the NEDs. I informed 111not of the obvious problem in 2013. But the PI chitchat was all about takeovers and huge oceans of Shaikan oil, in fact this is what Waterhouse said last March, which I bet you approved + probably bought more:

Bob on lse
What Gulf's OPERATIONAL HQ says!

Instead, listen to what Gulf's REAL management team are saying. The people in Erbil. The highly experienced Country Manager and the Production function. They are not afraid to spell out the facts.

And what are they saying to us?

* that Shaikan and Sheikh Adi contain at least 19 billion barrels of Oil In Place (LOL)

* that Shaikan is a SUPER-GIANT, which means it contains at least 10 billion barrels recoverable. (LOL)

There has been a concerted effort to reduce shareholder expectations at Gulf. Or should I more correctly say "PI expectations"? One sees no sign of the large shareholders selling out; indeed, the Kuok family bought more shares! (LOL)

The mighty Ford RS200 "Group B" rally car: "Too fast to race".

The mighty Shaikan super-giant oilfield: "Too big to reveal"? (LOL)

GKPhero: there is a related effect upon the effective dilution, for the individual.

The original 100% stake in GKP, which was carrying the bond debt of $627 million dilutes to 14.5% for those fully participating in the Open Offer. But that percentage rises as the boot filler fill their, er, boots via the (capped) oversubscription facility.

At the capped maximum, the 14.5% increases to:

14.5% x [209/9]/[29/9]

= 14.5% x 209/9 x 9/29

The 9s cancel out, so:

14.5% x 209/29 = 104.5%

Therefore on full oversubscription, there is no dilution at all. But of course that isn't achieved for free!

It's interesting that this is so close to "zero dilution". Coincidence?

Chaos tomorrow.

Best to buy at the lowest price you can today IMO.

I envisage 2p at the close Friday with a gradual climb out from there, but obviously no one knows.

Joseki is spot on this morning.
