12/10/2016 13:58 | 1712, many on here are desperate not to see the remaining holders make anything, as they all sold out at a loss. Weak people with no money should never have been near a company like GKP, imo. | ![]() gkphero
12/10/2016 13:57 | I'll meet with you Bob, quite happily in fact. I'm down Bromley way next weekend, where do you want to meet or shall I just turn up at your door? Whatever is best for you ? | 1302sb

12/10/2016 13:42 | From iii - I expect the AGM date to be announced very shortly - perhaps this Fri or next Monday - latest when the new shares are admitted for trading. I also expect the AGM resolutions (new directors, etc) to include one for share consolidation, anything from 1:20 to 1:40 in my view. As the announcement will pre-date the AGM and consolidation (if agreed by members) by 4 - 6 weeks, the share price volatility (or lack of) in these weeks will be very interesting - perhaps even rewarding for the Penny Share spreadbet specialists. Allowing 23Bn shares to be actively traded, in a stock such as GKP, is irresponsible IMO. There may well be a lock-down agreement with majority holders, however, until consolidation is complete - if so, the resulting market trading pattern in that intervening period will be anything but normal and the 'peak to trough' trading ranges might be quite eye watering. A dangerous but potentially extremely rewarding time for bottom feeders. IMO | ![]() gkphero
12/10/2016 13:40 | ccr1958 - appositely, here is a post made last night on the shame the tipsters thread: It's your money. Make your own decisions. Do the research. Either you do the basic stuff or you have to do a higher' level of research and watch the tipsters until you know which are worth following. If you enjoy the consolation of knowing it's not your fault you lost money on a 'bet' then follow any tipster you can find, but perhaps you'd do better to stick a pin in the listing in the FT and see what turns up. Some expertly managed 'actively managed' investments make no more profit than the monkey-mark. It requires more wisdom to profit from good advice than to give it. It is a rule of acquired wisdom that one learns more from one's mistakes than from the successes. The market is never cruel it is merely indifferent to your pain and loss. Like nature. ----------- It is useful, though not as solid a lesson, to also learn from the successes and mistakes of others. Don't conflate interest with being bothered. The market is never cruel it is merely indifferent to your pain and loss. Like nature. | ![]() hpcg

(thanks BD) Bigdog5 12 Oct '16 - 13:20 - 521881 of 521891 0 0 OM63, around the time of the SA1 DST farce GKP hadn't engaged an external advisor with remuneration expertise by any chance? | ![]() privateinvestor001
12/10/2016 13:32 | JB The share price could be .01 p and the orchestra would find a reason why it's too high 😇😇 Let's see what happens Huge buy 😀😎 | 1712notout |
