26/3/2020 17:46 | UKGEORGE we’ve said price of zinc won’t drop any lower for the last few months and we were wrong it has , if I thought there would be bounce in the price of GFM I would invest , there is nothing I can see at the moment why they would go up , but good luck to you , | alangriffbang
26/3/2020 16:40 | Thanks, Interesting stuff, I bought in at 20-30p about 3 years back and managed to sell above a pound and have been keeping an eye on the decent. Back then they still had a pile of debt think it was $50M ish. So given that is now gone I doubt we will see the 20's on this fall. As much as C19 is awful I believe the media has caused hysteria and that the crash is going to prove to be a buying opportunity. So happy to now be in these for hopefully the bounce. I can't see zinc prices going much lower and supply should also get cut as some of the higher cost operations cut production. | ukgeorge
26/3/2020 16:19 | ukgeorge I used to hold 200000 in GFM and sold down to nothing ,my broker has had a sell on it for months with a price of 25p ,I think most of us would go back in if there was some positive news ,but with the price of zinc tanking and China and the corona virus it’s best left alone , if you bought near the bottom you maybe ok ,most of the posters on here are very nice genuine people and we have become friends ,so your very welcome , | alangriffbang
26/3/2020 16:09 | PAG stomping back, with more to come Nice cuppa Earl Grey with a bun Gardener came today - garden waking up and birds singing | phillis
26/3/2020 15:53 | Uk, until GFM do something most are sitting and waiting. There are some good posters on here who pass good information over about other shares. I trade I don't really invest apart from one or two, so its good when someone brings another share to the table. At this point I agree with Alan's broker and won't hold. As Sage said most of us got out when it was heading for the pound mark. Some held for reasons of their own.MoTs extended, car parks being turned into temp morgue's, three week lockdown possibly to be extended, temp hospitals being arranged, Stateside now being hit hard, a quarter of the world in lockdown so will the markets hold its anyone's guess. But cash is king at the moment.Zoo | zooman
26/3/2020 15:30 | Wait until Easter. George- This is the Griffin Coffee hour, mostly about coffee, sometimes shares are discussed, but not Griffin's. | rose_by_another_name
26/3/2020 15:20 | Alan, indeed it is, looks like its ramping up Stateside and the Idiot Trumpet? says it will be sorted by Easter. Are they that gullible? But then you only have to see how some of his supporters act and maybe they are. I wonder what his excuse will be for making that type of comment? Zoo | zooman
26/3/2020 15:16 | Any of you actually buying some gfm? seems to be the start of the bounce.... Or is there another board to discuss this share | ukgeorge
26/3/2020 14:40 | Yes zoo, I am going to do the same I should have taken the plunge when it was in the sixties , considering the market is down my shares are pretty good ,LGEN back through£2 and the sun is still shining , | alangriffbang
26/3/2020 14:21 | LGEN back through £2 Sun still shining | phillis
26/3/2020 13:40 | Alan, I think Bango is a strange one. One minute I'm up for a punt then not. Alan I don't know, so for me I'm watching until I'm ready to go with it.Zoo | zooman
26/3/2020 13:35 | JPPP, good post, the MOTs, turning car parks into morgues. I think its going to take a while for thing to sort themselves out. As for Trump I'm with you the the whole way. I think they will turn on him before to long. Mind you they voted him in so anything is possible. Take care and keep safe.Zoo | zooman
26/3/2020 13:13 | Interesting on MOT Zoo. I delivered my car this morning to get one. Original parts are in short supply, but non-manufacturer parts are available. I phoned my insurer first - without an MOT, and equally car tax, the car is insured against theft and fire, but its not as soon as you drive. They may change this of course. I thought I'd just get mine done. Driving may be unnecessary too. Trump, he's a confidence trickster I think. He has worked out that his audience have short memories, so he'll get away with whatever he says. Sorry Easter didn't work out, at least I'm trying.... re-elect me. Few views on individual stocks, I'm not a day trader, so I am not fleet footed enough to trade these bounces, just must remember to not get jealous when i miss out on them. They tend to unwind anyway. I still like most of the FAANGS, but $ costs us more now. $ earners currently a good thing, ideally with little debt. Hard to know what anything is worth as there is so much uncertainty about levels of earnings in the next 3,6,9,12 months. A lot of firms should be back on track when this is all over, short term, earnings are really hard to see. GLA all and stay healthy, and in good cheer. JPPP | jppp
26/3/2020 12:56 | Zoo, do you think bango is a come and buy me price or a run a mile price ,serabi Mining has tanked this morning and taken a few more gold shares with it , | alangriffbang

26/3/2020 12:25 | Why doesn't Rodger send a message to the head of Chinese mining saying something along the lines of "We ready to increase our capabilities to support China in this time of need. All we need is the ratification of our license" | up just a little bit

26/3/2020 09:14 | Sage, whoever makes this may have a lift in price. A bit morbid though.Formalin is formaldehyde dissolved in water. Types of fluid for embalming. One is arterial and one is for the cavities or the abdomen. There could be a call on this unless its going to be a case of bring the bodies in then a quick service if the figures the government are correct.Zoo | zooman
26/3/2020 09:06 | Alan enjoy, hoping GGP drops a bit and will have another punt today. Gives me something to do whilst doing all those jobs that I was going to do during the summer. Deep joy!Zoo | zooman

26/3/2020 08:23 | Alan this now getting read for the ramp up. I was sent this this morning. Corbets Tey Crematorium's Main Car Park is being taken over as a temporary morgue. That's a car park of about 120 spaces which will make for a large morgue storage facility. Zoo | zooman |
