Daughter is very much ok, sign of the times but she ordered her last McDonald's today on their app before it shut down. My wife on the other hand has the virus and is holding her own but if her breathing gets any worse then it's hospital. I'm signed off until middle of April then if better working from home. Very uncertain times ahead I am not sure we will like what is coming as individuals and as a country.

UP, yes it was. Maybe its because they're indoctrinated with the idea that they are the greatest nation on earth and untouchable. Some nice kids are going to learn the hard way.A friend who lives in Cornwall has just sent me this message. Trelske Hospital, 6 dead, all beds. In iso full, ICU full, using half of a&e. Still holiday makers and second home owners come. Its more than likely they will put us in lockdown within the next couple of days.Zoo

Was that the beach in Florida? Most of them appeared to be extremely limited in common sense.

UP, its looking like shutdown news tonight. If not it may be done in areas as a way of saying to others, do as you are asked or this will happen to your area. These people are brain dead, did you see the American kids last night ignoring advice because it interferes with their "Spring Holiday". Muppets or what. Zoo

If we go into lockdown this week followed by the USA then the 20's crash will be there right in front of us.

Sage, you can say that again. Its interesting the government already has Martial Law plans which may have been needed during Brexit. We are now not that far off in it becoming reality. I think we're three steps away from it. Curfew, Lockdown then Martial Law. Scotland's First Minister alluded to it tonight when she said special powers were being prepared to force pubs to close that had refused. Its all moving towards that point. It seems some people are too stupid to realise the ramifications of this.Zoo

My main concern is that they are creating a financial crisis and who they are going to make pay. So spread money amongst bank accounts 85k per banking license. A legal offshore account may make sense I have mine in euros and $. Disturbing times.

Alan, they've closed the pubs mate. I do hear that Boza is going to arrange free condoms next week because they don't want a baby boom in nine months time. Lets face it, its a bit like HP have it now pay later. Zoo

I expect now the unexpected ,a couple of days last week I expected a big drop in the market and it was up , whatever happens I’m still not going to do anything , all this is money I doubt I would have ever used ,if it went down to nothing I would still be very ok ,this comes with being old ,you youngsters go out and enjoy, you’ve no Idea what’s round the corner ,if your lucky enough to retire early go out and do it ,like viv Nicholson said spend spend spend ,good luck ,

Sage, don't we all, they've started human trials but its the process time. Proving, licencing and production. Granted the licencing can slip a gear but they still need to know its safe. I fear this will get a lot worse before getting better. Zoo

UP, not sure there could be pressure from the government in order to try to stabilise it. But in all honesty I don't think they can do it, too much pressure but I would like to see some calm. Interesting though talking to a friend tonight she said that when she went shopping it was a lot quieter and shelves were stocked. The cynic in me says, nice day, cash run out, cards maxed out or no more space to keep the stuff. It could be the same on the market in as that people are not panicking so much and looking to buy in or average down.I can see that happening here given there are people still holding for various reasons. So maybe a dip then a slight lift is my take. But I'm not putting money on it.Zoo

Hi Cd, I stopped posting for several months and on my return have just kept it friendly and financial. Zoo asked what I thought would happen tomorrow in the markets? More volatility I believe. Numbers have been bad re virus over the weekend in the west. So more lock downs and restrictions = less business= lower sp’s. We need some news on treatments.
