Well what the hell is going on with the price on GGP. Down almost 50% on its high of 38p, with no news of anything changing at Havieron!! The inter day price is dropped on minuscule trades and doesn't move on buys. Even when sells are above the bid the bid price drops. Can anybody shed any light for me please!! I am a lth and am a substantial amount up but am still bemused

I reckon fund raise @20p is done deal, not going anywhere before that.
IIs are already aware of it and they will participate.
What for one may ask, either buying small producers or taking a stake in the mine.
Well, I said it, feel better now...:_)

You want to know another observation:

Windell Callaghan, look at his history and current work.

Accountant for GGP, CFO for Metal NRG PLC, Accountant for Starvest PLC

Starvest PLC is owned 13.27% by Callum Baxter

He took some equity in Metal NRG this mornings RNS

Robertoteodori,

Hmmm, interesting observation:
"and these two EUA and GGP seem to always fluctuate together??"

Shareholders list has some resemblance...scroll down!

Mal,
Pay day not here yet a spend of £280000 or about $au500000, but he is a man in the KNOW, cannot avoid knowing in his position.

News will be coming soon and he will not sell many until he leaves (retires) GGP, as the salary is enough for living well on.

He will cash in all options as and when still 18 million to go and being added to as a director.

When all existing options exercised about £28mil/$au50 mil value @ 20p @ £1 a share £140 mil $au 250 mil

and his pension plan is in place

The full stream of the AME Awards is available to watch on YouTube now.hTTps://youtube.com/watch?v=Re-Oz65FICQ...If you skip into 39 mins you can watch the presentation video from Callum & Fraser - there are some nice pics of the site and good insights into the process that they went through when they discovered Havieron and Fraser drops a couple of nice nuggets about the 3D inversion models that they formulated very early in the process that gave them the confidence to take the initial decision to invest - makes me think they must be pretty confident about these additional targets they keep on mentioning........GLA - Paddy

“Australia may even be on the way to overtaking China as the world’s largest gold producer, but it is far too early to draw any real conclusions.”

Retaining top spot was Newcrest Mining’s Cadia East mine with 179,546 ounces of gold for the quarter.

Close said while some larger mines fell, other up-and-coming operations will look to challenge them over the next few years.

“Thanks to higher gold prices in the last couple of years, the gold sector has continued to raise considerable capital and there is a tremendous amount of exploration going on, with excellent results being reported,” Close said.

Australia’s largest gold producers for the March 2021 quarter were:
(AU OUNCES)

Cadia East===179,546===Newcrest Mining Ltd

Boddington===152,000===Newmont Inc.

Tanami===117,000===Newmont Inc.

Super Pit===111,278===Northern Star Resources

Fosterville===108,679===Kirkland Lake Gold Inc.
