No minimum holding as far as I'm aware.
I've decided to buy some.
Well run company in a sector of the market which is only going to become more in demand.
Excellent dividend, plus potential for capital growth.

Is there any minimum holding required to participate. Eg if you a small amount now can you buy what you want at 110?

bountyhunter: on ii platform GSF is not shown on the IPO offer page, it is only available (currently) to existing shareholders via corporate actions....hope that helps.

On the (non PB) broker sites is it necessary to enquire first in order to see the GSF offer under corporate actions or is it mandatory to hold the shares already?

As I recall retail investors could only purchase last time via primary bid so I bought in open market as price fell. This time I have been able to subscribe via ii so I have subscribed at the £1.10 price. GLA

#Gateside HSDL posted the same corporate action information today. The issue for me (apart from scaling back) is that last time it was possible to pick up stock lower than the issue offer price on/near placement day. Not sure whether HSDL will allow purchase straight into ISA or just general share dealing account … if it’s the latter I will definitely pick them up in the market. Bed & ISA is inefficient. 🤷‍a94;️🤔

In corporate actions with ii you can subscribe for shares at 1.10p subject to a minimum 1000 shares.I believe there will be no dealing charge or stamp duty, as that's usually the case.

I remember that ,I topped up then, i could not get the shares through the primary bid, but it appears different this time. I am with ii ,I have emailed to see if they are going to run with it this time.

Still think they’ll be available on the market for under £1.10 on/around placement date. Last time they were a few pence under, although income is a lot better since then. ISA top-up for me along with APF.🤞ㇿ5;😎

Any views how this compares to SMS who also have a pipeline of battery energy storage projects ?

Huge jump to a fully fledged FTSE 250 organisation in a short space of time. Anyway the ride should be fun!

....Only with massive scale-back if its popular, and full allocation if the insts have decided against.

PB - great idea, generally very poor execution IMO. We're as far to the bottom of the pile as ever.

May be best to pick up on open market Point of primary bid is to give us the option to go in on same terms as the institutions

I can see somewhere between 1.05 and 1.07 if it’s a slight premium to NAV and given the dilution it will be. Primary Bid is a non-starter for me, it will be easy to pick shares up at the same price on/around placing day. Just in case there isn’t sufficient interest GSF have covered their backs with the additional potential C share issue. On the plus side there will be no end of demand for this kind of battery storage and a larger market cap will help the share price and trading liquidity. I’m not going to do it (as an LTH in at 1:03) but I do think there is a chance to trade now and make possibly 10p per share. A good choice for an ISA top-up methinks and the next set of financials should make for a good read!

Not sure about grid, they did a loan raise in September when I expected it then, but having said that it is tempting to sell half just in case though, not easy this game

Would be very surprised if GRID didn't raise equity

GRID must be due a placing/fund raising soon...just waiting for a bit of a discount...

Yep Though issuing £750m equity with existing market cap should get them comfortably north of £1bn which will help on liquidity/spreads and future premiums to NAV It's ambitious; but hard to get a more in demand sector at moment GRID must be a cert to follow on with similar plans

If you're not adding then best to have them issued at a premium
