11/4/2022 21:27 | Heres a thing that may be of interest to some of you. Bought into the subscription a few days ago through me HL Isa account and the corporate facility. Been thinking I should have bought more (as hopefully its pretty nailed on) but the close was 12.0 pm Friday. Over the weekend transferred some funds to my new ISA allowance. This am phoned HL and asked if it would be possible to add to my subscription today before the actual close by GSF. The guy on the phone said he didnt know and would have to speak to a superior who also didnt know. AS that was taking ages he said he would message me when there was an answer. Never got a message (maybe tomorrow)but the funds have been taken out and the shares (but no financial values) added to my account in a separate section. So it is possible to apply after the HL bell as it were. Just maybe of interest for future reference | scruff1
11/4/2022 21:15 | Not been involved with T+ trades since TD Waterhouse sold out to II. Almost forgot the point to em. HL everything is pretty much instant (and more expensive). Less hassle imo. Sell em the money's yours, buy them it aint. No T involved | scruff1
11/4/2022 20:25 | Your broker would be in breach of FCA Client Money Rules if you required them to use unsettled sale proceeds to fund the application. They would effectively have to use another client's money to fund the application until your T+2 trade has settled. | ec2

11/4/2022 13:22 | Fully agree with bathcoup; sell with AJB and funds available immediately | janeann
11/4/2022 09:44 | Excellent, many thanks for the quick response! And, yes, I had come up against that at ii before, unfortunately :-( | cwa1
11/4/2022 09:32 | Yes, with AJB. BTW, you have to wait two days (T+2) with ii for doing the same. | bathcoup
11/4/2022 09:09 | Quick question for anyone at AJB/YOUINVEST If you sell a stock just now can it be used immediately to apply for GSF stock in the offering, or does it need to clear first before they allow an application? Offer closes mid-day today and I would ask AJB but think I'm more likely to get a quicker and possibly more knowledgeable answer on here ;-) Cheers for any input | cwa1
11/4/2022 08:28 | Odds on them upscaling it? Very high, I'd think. | spectoacc
10/4/2022 13:31 | You never know. Its been straining at the leash all week and crept up. When they start trading on Thursday there will be quite a few profit takers which may knock it down a tad. I have subscribed through HL but also have some cash if indeed they do drop and it did get to 119 before | scruff1

10/4/2022 13:18 | Annoying as was hoping to buy on Monday - will probably shoot up 10% after that. Never mind... | riverman77
10/4/2022 11:40 | Not if you want to buy some. | podgyted
10/4/2022 11:21 | Thanks for link. Good to see Joanne Hart (Midas column) says the 110p offer looks attractive. | livewireplus

08/4/2022 15:51 | #Tomps2 … again thank you for the share, I have listened to the ‘slammer’ He had no knowledge of the income streams or why GSF continues to raise substantial amounts of money to invest in the battery storage market, zero knowledge of GRID and wasn’t even able to communicate the new dividend sliding scale above 7p. The fact he was a fan of Primary Bid says it all! I am fully expecting that following GRID’s significant increase in NAV that the full-year results for GSF will be good (indeed they ‘telegraphed IMHO investors will have to be quick on the mark to catch the opportunity to invest at or around £1.10 in the general market on or around placement day, I certainly intend to do so having been able to pick up shares at £1.03 on a previous raise (which was below the offer price - something that I’m not sure will be possible this time). Anyway as I said on the APF forum “no publicity is bad publicity”. 😂👍 | cocopah

08/4/2022 08:24 | Anyone had their interim dividend yet? | route1
07/4/2022 08:57 | I am expecting GSF to be heavily subscribed and the GRID factor may well have led to a surge in applications | catch007
06/4/2022 22:09 | Yep GRIDs NAV growth and forward guided growth is impressive, not quite sure why GSF hasn't kept up - suppose higher yield/payouts explains some of it | williamcooper104
06/4/2022 17:24 | Actually no william, GRID have said their NAV will be up to 140-145p by June 2022, it is just taking time to embed the revaluations. So actually not much of a premium there even after today's share price jump to 147p, may be another leg up tomorrow. GSF NAV progress is not as spectacular but should continue to grow aswell. | marktime1231 |
