23/5/2022 12:34 | Surely for every seller there must be a buyer - even if it's only the Market Maker - and vice versa? | a0002577
23/5/2022 11:20 | and the price has risen over the past few weeks - so there you have it Buys > sells | toffeeman
23/5/2022 10:34 | Thanks Toffeeman, However the buys continually outnumber the sells over a week or weeks. Thus there appears to be an inexplicable inbalance. | eggbaconandbubble
23/5/2022 09:36 | Because they are 'O' trades which can be reported long after the deal is made. The only reliable trade data comes from 'AT' trades which are real time this stock does not have them. Look at AZN and you will see what I mean. with 'O' traded companies - if the share price goes up it's more buys than sells and VV | toffeeman
23/5/2022 08:44 | Whenever I look at the trade volumes here, the 'buys' are almost always far higher than the 'sell' trades. Why is that? | eggbaconandbubble
20/5/2022 16:21 | Good to see us at £1.20, a nice profit for all those who took up the recent fund raising offer. | mylands
20/5/2022 11:41 | Battery Storage Trusts like Gresham and Gore Street can buy the power generated at the moment which is a result of UK utilities burning the gas glut they have and store it until winter to sell for a higher price. But I think the main beneficiaries will be the utility companies burning this cheap gas and selling the power to Europe who will announce very good profits - eg Centrica, SSE, Scottish power and national Grid See this article which was better written than the Daily Mail's: hxxps://news.sky.com | apollocreed1
19/5/2022 19:55 | Gosh! I remember gasometers (gas holders) as a kid. The last one I saw I think was in Mitcham. | eggbaconandbubble
19/5/2022 19:01 | No. Short sighted but they closed Rough gas storage (ex N sea well) awhile back. Some talk of reopening it. | waterloo01
19/5/2022 19:00 | Daily Mail today highlighted the shortage of UK gas storage facilities - are we operating/involving in this area? | yokelee

05/5/2022 13:02 | Have these in 2 portfolios. I like the investment principle. Bought at 110p initially then added at 117p months ago. Been underwater on the second for a while. I do love these ITs | rogerramjett
19/4/2022 10:53 | iWeb are indeed reasonably cheap and cheerful BUT they are consistently the slowest at applying dividends and dealing with corporate actions. I suppose this is truly a case of you get what you pay for(with the exception of Barclays who charge like the light infantry and are also very poor in to the bargain(this is an old opinion-but they don't seem to have changed from all I've heard). | cwa1
19/4/2022 10:24 | I've just had a conversation with Halifax/iWeb about this. Their response was: "We've received the stock and the team is processing this so hopefully the new shares will be credited in the account sometime this week. We will notify you once it has been done."......!! When I responded to say that I thought this timescale was unacceptable, I just got this excuse: "I understand but the shares were only received on 14th and then it was long weekend so it's the first day back for the team." I use various platforms, and iWeb is useful because it's cheap, but my goodness sometimes their laissez-faire attitude can be pretty annoying. | octaviab
19/4/2022 10:18 | Phoned them.....'we have just received notification of allocation and funds....we will be returning excess cash and allocating new share this week!! | bothdavis
19/4/2022 09:54 | Still waiting from Halifax Sharedealing Service......no sign of new allocation or return of excess funds! | bothdavis
18/4/2022 23:12 | Is anyone else still waiting to get their share allocation on iWeb? In my Interactive accounts the shares were allocated and ready to trade on 14th, but in my iWeb account there is no information at all on how many shares I was allocated, nor have I been refunded any of the excess funds. Grrr. | octaviab
14/4/2022 20:37 | @davebowler Only vaguely similar, though interesting to see the recent investment in batteries I like the run of the river hydro assets, more concerned about the CHP with heavy exposure to one customer ...and I'm not entirely convinced about the whole direction, seems less about energy efficiency than just jumping on random ideas. Not bad ideas on the whole, but I'm not sure something this generalist will ever lose the discount | alan pt
14/4/2022 20:28 | A point of comfort for existing shareholders - unless the NAV is *very* stale (possible) the raise is above NAV and therefore accretive, not dilutive On the topic on brokers, seems AJB got this one completely right, much as they have done on everything recently AFAIK. I wish they would tweak their dealing fees a bit but otherwise no complaints. Unlike HL, they have continued to invest in their systems and service | alan pt
14/4/2022 17:06 | Ditto - more or less | williamcooper104
14/4/2022 16:59 | Got my 38% and bought the rest on the open market as did many others I guess. | mrphil
