C shares at £1 are invariably at a premium to NAV due to costs - eg cash raised will be more like 98.5p per £1.

If there's one thing you can guarantee from all these ITs - as soon as the price pops up, they issue more shares. Perhaps GSF have the right idea in saying they'll issue £750m over 12 months, but since current mkt cap c.£400m, can see it being done at much nearer to NAV.

Why would c shares be issued at a premium to NAV? Would defeat the object

C shares issued at £1 … in theory to allow investors to subscribe for new shares without negatively affecting existing shareholders, we shall see!

Yep; 110p would be my guess New divi policy is a little strange in that it implies an element of capital dividends in that if NAV goes up just because of yield shift then the increased dividend could not come from higher income so can only be capital - but clearly expresses confidence so all good Note that they appear to say that any C Shares could be issued at £1 - and not at a premium to NAV - bit confusing - but highlights how important for private investors to be able to participate via primary bid

Bit of clarification needed here. 750m share issuance. Initial issuance followed by 12 monthly issuance programme. NAV currently 103. Shares to be issued 'not less than NAV plus a premium to cover expenses (I bet there will be!!). Anyone care to suggest a price?

Well theres gonna be a placing so we gonna be worse off for a while. Bit of an eggon possibly to get it going but should be benfecial if the NAV rises. Thats my early take

New divi policy. Can someone please translate that into simple English please!

Are we better or worse off dividend wise?

Reasonably interesting article about pumped storage in the Telegraph. Hardly news though. I had a tour of Dinorwic in the 70's when it was under construction. No doubt that storage is a critical factor if renewables are to attain their potential. Question is - how much of that will be provided by batteries? Certainly the potential of water schemes would seem integral

Add back the 2p div we will be receiving on, or about, the 8th April and we are steady at the ATH of 120p.

Thanks for the link. Cowie bought at the same price I first went in to these, 105p.

Good to see some follow-up buying this morning and a further small tick-up in the share price

A week today is the record date for the div, so buy before then to get some income.

Good support for the stock at this new high with only two sales, totalling 1,852, shares out of 275,000 traded so far today.

So will I!

Doing nicely with this stock, bought in at 105p when it was yielding 6.6%, even at 117p, it still yields 5.9%.

Record date for next payment of 2p qtrly div is 18th March, for payment on 8th April.

I like what they are doing diversifying geographically in an area of growth, energy storage, especialy relevant at a time of serious political turmoil.

From the investor updates this morning … why are Perfect Power Solutions selling their energy storage units to GSF? (it’s a core part of their business) … and the cost increase for the smaller related party agreements … up to 1% of NAV looks significant and adds what exactly? Hmm!

I do wonder whether the shortage of lithium is going to make further additions either difficult or much more expensive, so I think they would need to answer that in a fundraise. I'm not so sure about big geographical diversification - the management costs of being small players in huge markets (or in the US case, lots of local markets) will be high.
