tip for IMI in a similar valve business in the DT today,
would have thought, if Duvelco comes off and EASAT achieves orders with overseas governments, that GDWN is superior though more expensive and too illiquid to permit the DT to recommend to its readers.

With all that’s going on at GDWN, it’s difficult to know whether or how far these index related trades are moving the share price from what the fundamentals justify.

Alec Sweet’s Substack post illustrated the massive growth that could be incoming over the next several years. I guess we will just have to see how this plays out over time.

Now over £70…..main driver is a very extensive study on Goodwin by Alex Sweet…….whilst providing a lot of historical info the most interesting part for me is the outlook over the next few years…..Goodwin have their fingers in so many different pies!!!

I think there was a fair amount of froth in the share price, which is now looking like it's mostly been blown off.

Barring another trading update, the next news due is in August when the finals are due so I suspect the share price will hover around it's current level in the high fifties.

Agreed Yasrub. This is the one share that I have confidence in and am will be holding for a very long time. Sold some OPG holding today to top up my Goodwin holding.

It was recently hovering around £70 recently, won't be long before it back up there....

I feel recent capital allocation has shown how focused management are. I think an element of patience has been required but that is the beauty they are not looking for quick PR wins some of the opportunities look potentially game changing to me.

Hope i'm not being overly concerned but one cannot pass on the thought that there might be a case for having too many irons in the fire. The younger generation are, after all, quite young with Tim, the Chairman, for instance just 34 years of age.

There is a need to stay focused but i am confident the younger (and dynamic) Goodwins will be recieving plenty of wise councel from the older generation.
