Thanks, my mistake - Vespel is the significantly more expensive product I was thinking of.

PEEK sold for around £85/kg according to Victrex accounts, my understanding is Ducoya will be sold at a large multiple to that.

I was under the impression that it was priced considerably cheaper than PEEK (at least initially to gain market share).

wowsa - directors bought nearly £500k of stock and they own over 50% as it is ? ?

Must be confident that new product is launching ok . that was my only reservation if it didnt move as quick a shareholders might hope - but if that was case they would wait to buy surely ?

These young guys way of reporting is really annoying.
They keep talking about the 10 birds in the sky instead of focussing on the bird in het hand...

Their communication about Easat over the last few years is almost laughable.

It's pretty obvious now that defense spending will be, and is being, increased not just here in the UK but all the NATO member countries where it is now a priority for all to get up to the minimum requirement of 2% of GDP..

With two major wars going on it is no wonder. We've had no updates on EASAT since Dec and full-year results are not until August. We may of course get a trading update before then that may tell us more on how the EASAT order is progressing but one would think that, or hope, that they must be closer, given all the above, to signing this multi-million pound order..

I doubt it, there has been strong buying all week as investors begin to realize what a great company Goodwin is.

Commenced with an uncrossing in the 8 am auction in a massive 5,000 shares. Wonder if that was a "fat thumb" that has left the market makers short ?

All plant equipment has, as of August 2023, arrived on-site, as was scheduled. The Company is looking forward to generating material for sale and consumption within the first half of 2024. While it might take some time for customers to adopt this new material, the Board believes the potential for growth is substantial, all stemming from this initial manufacturing plant.During the development process, as stated in the previous year's Annual Report and Financial Statements, a significant discovery was made that will be utilised in the manufacturing process of our Polyimide polymer, enabling us to produce materials of identical chemistry to those of the market leader. By applying this discovery in our pilot process, we achieved an improvement in tensile mechanical properties by more than 20% under industry-standard tensile tests at260°C.

IMHO market is around 600-900m.
I believe GDWN will slowly gain market share and duvelco its very promisins
“The Company is confident about the significance of its breakthrough in manufacturing its polyimide polymer. This process, which results in improved properties compared to other commercially available materials, is currently under patent application. This pending patent is likely to provide us with a protective moat for the next two decades, strengthening our market position.”
