Sea we all know a lot about you from your posts You are a very detailed and structure person. You also want to have your own way and are willing to argue a point to the nth degree. You can't take criticism which is born out by your obsession with Robson / Miller and how you chase him around BB boards You like to have proper processes in place and structure This leads me to gain a picture that you are probably retired but used to work as an accountant, was an engineer or worked in administrationYou probably have a dislike for sales people, if you did ever work with them as they are the total opposite to you. There are many personality systems that can be used like Myers Briggs, DisC and the Humm Wasdworth model of key personalities that from your posts allow people to see how you are made up.As you can gather I am a sale person and look at the big picture. GDP main issues are a lack of materials to process and a gold mine that they should have been got rid off a long time ago. My point is that you and the board of GDP have exactly the same profile and accountants and engineers can't run a business where you need to hunt for your business which GDP have to do today. Plus you need very good contract management which needs commercial awareness. Suing RR showed a major lack of CA.The reason why I held up softcat was that they are a sales driven business where GDP are not and this is what I was trying to explain to you.I got laughed at on this board by you and others when I mentioned that GDP need salespeople until they realised that it was in the sourcing area we needed to put these people in place. You also defend GDP on this board from any criticism which is strange as I am sure now that most shareholders of GDP are fed up.It's only you and KB2 that pump this share now on this board.I would love this to turn around but think that the best way forward is to find a buyer for GDP and put us all out of our misery.By the way you are probably a very nice guy, I am just having a go at your posts.

it was this comment DD, that shareholder made..

You probably never worked with a professional sales person nor has any of the board at GDP
..........

That I felt was breathtaking arrogance and making assumptions about someone he knows nothing about - that being me.

I choose not to disclose my personal background on a public bulletin board, however, some people do come across as a bit up themselves, when I see a post like that.

DD,

shareholder was singing the praises of softcat and holding it up as this wonder to behold, whilst deriding goldplat, so it is simply giving him a taste of his own medicine, Nothing more.

some of shareholders posts re softcat... nothing like someone looking down their nose.

Lucky SoftCat keeps performing and taking profits on this, proper company with sales team and techies as they sell cloud and security systems but don’t ask the techies to find customers

Softcat employ graduates as do SAP and Oracle

Enterprise sales are business people and earn £250k to £1m

You probably never worked with a professional sales person nor has any of the board at GDP

They would not turn up to a meeting without being prepared and professional and would qualify any potential business.

But the way Sea have you looked at SoftCats share price

This is what happens with a sales lead company

sold GDP bought Softcat at 280 got a 17p divi, sold at 4.20 and bought back in at 3.80

Hope it works out for you, but there are more losers out there than people in profit

Fidelity are still sitting on a very big loss

Shareholder's post contained several errors, but I can't see the point of correcting them.

As does DD4's come to that.

GKG joined CEO 11th Feb 2015 share price around 4p

RR screw up as no proper contacts in place and GDP nearly went bust and refinery in Germany found as RR puts GDP to back of queue and dose not process anything for us.

Starts spending money to upgrade Ghana in anticipation of new material but uses techies to source. No new materials found.

Convinced Fidelity that GDP should plough more money into Kili and gets the go ahead

Gets a new deal with RR but screws up the contract and then sues

Promises shareholders that we will get all of the money back and after two years settles for half

Ploughs more money into Kili and says that Kili is braking even

Now there are production issues with Kili and other miners now on our land and we are not braking even and we are losing money again

issues with rand were ongoing during 2014 before GKG turned up.

upgrades at ghana completed ahead of schedule.

rand refinery backed down on their counter claim and paid goldplat - goldplat paid nothing to rand as they were demanding.

chinese on land in kenya is beyond goldplat control.

isn't doing the job as a charitable favour to shareholders.

When GKG took over, share price was in decline, hit 1.75p four months after GKG took over, after his turnaround efforts it hit 8.5p earlier this year.

Post up positives shareholder or contact the company if you are so panicky about your investment.

On the gold price if you take the stocks they have on hand and the recoverable TSF then a $100/oz increase in price would produce an increase in profit equal to the market price.

Gold price this year may increase if political uncertainty persists and if stocks crash? Italy/Euro - Brexit - Saudi Arabia - China and politics of dissatisfaction worldwide. This of course would be good for GDP? Forgot to mention global government and personal debt problems? Everyone should some form of Gold hedge in their portfolio? GDP might do well even if it is not being well managed?

The main importance of the gold price is what it is in the local currency. The rand price has been good and the Kenyan price has been down.

It will affect mining production and any production from GDP owned stocks.

anyway shareholder - I thought you said that softcat would go over £8 a share when the results were announced. It didn't though did it. It collapsed further, 20% off the August 52 week high and has barely recovered any of that since.

Forward expectations aren't so great there are they. Trust you are out with a profit

26 x earnings is very pricey - it was 34 x earnings. still further to go down in my opinion.

I consider that they take their eye off the boil and fail to concentrate on the core business which is not kili. However kili is still being constantly talked up and failing to deliver. They will never get the losses back? GKG is hooked on mining and is consequently failing the rest of a decent little business. However I DO HOPE I am wrong. Some really good news this week please but somehow I am not expecting it just window dressing?

since GKG took over he has transformed the company, however, he is struggling at kili and this has been made worse, from a perception point of view, by the chinese on the plot.

Ghana has tailed off a bit from a feedstock view, although they have finally cleared out all the legacy issues, that were to be faced, since the days of demetri.

I am hoping that he will be able to maintain the momentum that he has enjoyed so far, however, the last few months have seen things slow up a bit.
