It said it was frustrated by the tax authority, with the amount of money that it has been claiming growing every year. As of June 30 this year, Goldplat said it was owed Sh139.6 million.

They would have processed it if they had got permission to use the pit. However while they were waiting another producer has come along and made a superior offer.

Your understanding of the economics of Kili is shallow to say the least.

That is not correct.

We know that there is a third party bidding to do the processing of the TSF and

If discussions with a third-party producer to process the TSF off-site progress well, this project could begin during the FY 2019.

Whether it is DRD or someone else doesn't really matter, but the overwhelming liklihood is that it is DRD.

The more interesting speculation is on the profitability of such an agreement.
