What exactly does the client release ?
All of GTC’s more detailed data ? Actual databases, not just the map ?

I think you’re just trying to back up a point about the value of the data regardless.

Perhaps its time to ask GTC.

I am a shareholder
What difference does it make?
In this tread, some shareholders are spreading dishonesty or have their heads under the sand

You sound bitter, are you a disgruntled ex-employee ? Very odd if you are a shareholder as you constantly try and undermine the company with Ill informed nonsense

98 out of 100 times, “the client” made the results available to the market/public to raise capital to build the mine.
And the results do not belong to GTC
Again dangerously Misleading and naive

Sigh ! Actually GTC have a lot of hand drills deployed all over the planet.

Drilling is the last step, usually undertaken by the client.

The initial mapping is done by: seismic, electrical, magnetic, radioactive or density techniques.

Of course someone else could do those and go to clients, but once GTC has done them, they belong to GTC, are not published publicly and very obviously have significant value.

Anyone who doesn’t get that should set up in competition and see how they get on.

Just tell me where the information feeding our worldwide model comes from since we do not do drilling.
You are naive.

Mining is about defining local resources in great detail through drilling at very close centres, costing billions each year to the mining industry.

We don't own any patent in our model, do we? Therefore, do not be fooled: our model is a compilation of publicly available material. It is totally worthless.

The new guy is clearly on it. He's cut costs, laid off 25% of staff so we are now breaking even, with loads of potential to grow in a huge developing market. So much upside potential

The data value is not close to zero. Its clearly been expanded into much more detail which is what GTC use.

Read it up.

Impressive Looking forward to the shift to a technology classification on the stock market rather than oil & gas with hopefully a technology company rating - sounds like it will be soon !

Most Probably, the data value is close to zero because it was obtained from available sources to the public.
But the other three items have value
The problem is that R&D is not always profitable in the short term. We could go under in a couple of years if all the new investment does not have a decent return

With the Market Cap less than the sum of its assets (cash + Kitson + data + software) someone doing price discovery in prep a takeover offer?
