New update of Globe platform launched

In response to the increasing interest in naturally occurring hydrogen as an energy transition resource, Globe 2023’s updated 2D gravity and magnetic models assist in identifying the depth and location of ultramafic bodies which can be the source rocks to such ‘white hydrogen’ occurrences. Meanwhile, Globe 2023’s updated palaeosurface geology layers can assist in identifying potential carbon storage sites by better understanding the composition and quality of reservoirs.

Chris Jepps, Getech COO commented: “We continue to see strong demand for Globe from new customers and, through regular client engagement, we know how valuable this unique and detailed digital twin of the Earth is to its long-standing user-base of energy resource and mineral exploration companies.

At Getech, we recognise that the future is wholly dependent on a global transition towards energy from low-carbon sources. In Globe 2023 we are delighted to release a new version that reflects this evolving energy landscape, with new capabilities supportive of exploration across multiple energy sectors – including petroleum, minerals, metals, geothermal and energy storage.”

As regards H2G, I imagine, although its speculation on my part, the state of capital markets is such that at the moment there was no realistic chance of floating it off at a decent price for shareholders, so it will be in a holding mechanism for when markets improve, with the necessary cost cutting & personnel changes implemented to that end. As Playful has pointed out, the rest of the business is doing very well. The fact that the share price is on the floor is not unique to Getech, it's a market wide problem for small caps and AIM in particular, as everyone will know.

Mr Cooley did no damage, as you put it, he was only here for a matter of weeks. He left in conjunction with the new CEO taking a close look at the business and costs, as did Luke Johnson. The new CEO is very impressive, as we will find out in due course when the market is updated.

32campomar - Cooley cost me a lot of money when he was at ITM so while interested in GTC not prepared to move until management are prepared to clarify position with H2Green and any unresolved problems left behind - So far as I can tell no such data has been made available.

Thanks Playful

Four successive years of losses is quite some baggage. Is it really different this time? Profit around the corner? Lots of money to be made with turnarounds but I never have! Still intrigued here for some reason..

So why bother being here if you are not a holder and post nothing but negative views? Very odd.

Massive uncertainty over the position of H2Green. Until clarified share price may continue to drift down - Also seems to be share overhang and most current holders underwater.

Minus Mortgage Cash and Property £5.6M – 31/12/22

Globe together with the 2.3M recurring software licenses CIRCA £4/5M (My best guess on the business assets and perhaps very conservative.)

The Chairman has been swinging his battle axe to the costs, so you don’t need much imagination to see the core business washing its face before too long.

Order book 4.3M up 40% gives us confidence.

Can you quantify how it is undervalued? I held as an asset play several years ago but it didn’t seem work out so sold and moved on. It’s interesting that some reputable posters are in here and the share price has bombed out but the at first sight the rump business hasn’t gone anywhere and the new businesses look very speculative.

Hi Pug - We all have our own opinion but its nice to be balanced and mention the positive as well as any negative gives a more decent impression especially when discussing a micro-cap that let’s be honest is looking extremely undervalued.

Bear markets don't last forever and the one that has hammered AIM in particular has been brutal. The turning point will come in fact we must be very near if not at maximum pessimism and don't forget markets look well ahead.

hi playful - Seen too many over confident punters lose cash so am ultra careful to try and preserve and grow capital - Has served me very well in the past - and hopefully will do so in the future.

Do not boast about my winners on threads.

Looks to be breaking back down. Sale at 9.06p for 130K - If this momentum continues 9p will be likely to break and then odds on free fall.

Seems appropriate to bring the old "If anyone cares" to the top given the total silence on the H2 Green and the lack of any management comment on what has happened to their "investment"

Looks like nobody cares any more.

bookbroker> You are too generous - Agreed waste of space but the real danger is that some managers are incompetent or maybe suckers who fall for the latest "hot prospect" and as many long in the tooth PI's know to their cost that hot stocks are very often like the dot-com bubble.

Those sort of asset managers just a total waste of space, sadly when companies are raising capital they are not at liberty to decide who they choose to have support. Most are just parasites out for a quick buck.
