Related to today's RNSNON subject:

Spain want to start drilling for hydrogen in the Pyrenees, and a company is applying for drilling licences there. They are already drilling for hydrogen in south Australia. In Mali, they found hydrogen on a drill hole a few years ago and piped it up to a generator. Now they are getting rid of the generator and fitting a fuel cell.

"The push to wean the planet off carbon-free fuels and transition to renewable energy has focused mainly on wind and solar power. But mounting scientific evidence suggests there’s an untapped clean energy source deep underground that could provide vastly more power than we need: hydrogen created by natural geologic processes. And like the oil industry’s early days in the 19th century, it’s spawning a wave of drilling startups vying to be first to find big deposits."........

I can’t bring myself to be charitable about them - as I see it Copus and Johnson were the “founders̶1; of the H2Green idea, if that’s the right term and now they’ve done a Cameron. (Brave Sir Robin)

Didn’t the Scottish gov put £27mln into Inverness site ?

Surely thats enough for little GTC to make something of.

I don’t think Labour will ignite anything green. The problems with progressing renewables are generally not party political, just like those with asylum seekers are not. Unfortunately both parties play pop-politics with the issues and each supporters club just goes along with it.

Imo Getech Lithium is just a useful trading name for selling into that market.

Re: today’s news and lack of H2 green news - I suspect they are going to divest it in some way - hence the update delays. Key players (if thats what they were !) have gone.

The lack of any update from the company - Especially regarding H2 is a serious concern - Shareholders should be updated.

While extracting the heat from the subsurface, we can also identify and retrieve valuable metals and critical minerals such as lithium from underground. These resources are essential components for many energy transition efforts, such as the creation of electric vehicles.

This can significantly enhance the economic benefits of geothermal by making overall
investments more valuable and thus attractive for potential investors.

Agree about Geothermal funnily enough it is also a way of extracting lithium.
Getech had this published today

1st paragraph page 7 mentions lithium extraction

Good spot! There is lots going on behind the scenes, this is one example. Geothermal has enormous potential too for GTC. Hydrogen I think will still be big, but the lack of drive from government means momentum is not there at the moment. But it will return when we hopefully have a change of government, so I hope that we don't get rid of H2Green entirely. Hopefully we will get clarity in the update which must be imminent. Whatever our political beliefs, Labour will put a rocket up all sorts of green technology and GTC will do very well.

An update is long overdue. As an aside, it's very odd the current buy price is the quoted sell price of 9.8p.

I’d love to see Johnson’s CV and then interview him.

Given the lack of news on the H2 front, I reckon it will be sold to PE, with whatever plans have been written, hopefully covering the original stake and some of the invedtment and we can go back to an expanding geo-information business.

Not sure there’s enough in H2Green to float it credibly.

Enough dead-duck add/ons. Its a thriving base business in a growing market.

Didn’t know he was going. I’m not on first name terms though.

From Linked In, some major BS:

“ About
Founder of H2 Green, my second venture and my first in the brave new world of Green Hydrogen. we are building production hubs in every major population centre of the UK”

Yeah right. FFS. If he is going, good riddance.

Starting to wonder whether Copus, as someone who clearly liked powerpoint presentations as if they were reality, fell for one from Johnson.

I now doubt whether GTC own or have any H2 green asset worth anything, unless you can sell paper plans.
