More vapour from those bandits at H2Green, what has this event got to do with the business of generating a return for GTC. More like expenses for the H2Green bandits to incur on their publicity stunt!

Perhap Cooley said something naughty eg. “I can see the remains of a gas holder but what else have you got ?”

RE 1539:- The sudden departure of Cooley for whatever reason requires an rns especially (imo) in view of the extract in Bones post

Nothing so far as I could see as a reason in the above quoted twitter links.

On 5th June (results day), the chairman is quoted:

”H2 Green has an exciting portfolio of hydrogen and renewable energy projects and to maximise its potential as a 'pure play' UK project developer, one of my first actions as Executive Chairman was to appoint Dr Graham Cooley as H2 Green's Chair. As the former CEO of ITM Power, Graham played a crucial role in transforming the company into a hydrogen market leader. That Graham accepted the role, reflects well on H2 Green and its future potential. With experience in the sector and working with the UK government, Graham brings invaluable expertise to support H2 Green's expansion and development.”

10 days later, Graham Cooley’s directorship was terminated.

I don’t have Twitter so I don’t know what that link said in post 1535 but clearly something changed in those 10 days.

I wonder why the appointment was made in the first place. If Inverness and Shoreham are progressing well, surely that is enough for a company of this size. Don’t need “connections”.

A figurehead might be useful in getting a big fundraising away for the H2 projects or for a float-off, but have to be careful about reputations, whatever the BS headhunters and CV says.

It's a reasonable assumption that in looking at the business he decided that Graham Cooley's services were not needed, IImagine he doesn't come cheap.Richard Bennett gave the impression in the post results presentation (that was very good by the way) that it would be quite straightforward to get GTech back to break even. Perhaps Graham Cooley's departure is part of the process.

From the CEO's twitter account in response to a question about the termination of Graham Cooley's role at H2Ghttps://twitter.com/CleanTechRich/status/1673767345553022981?t=Fg-RCmcDwgn0VlZEkU7T-w&s=19 https://twitter.com/CleanTechRich/status/1673767345553022981And a reminder that the company made clear 2 weeks ago in their presentation they have no need to raise any cash

If not why not?
Message received - Not sufficiently interesting for a vulture - Why?

The cost base isn’t great even if you take off asset development costs.

6.5mln to get a revenue of 5mln, when 2.4mln is repeat revenue and therefore very low on sales cost, is pretty dismal and either there are a lot of development costs in the core business, which are going to jump revenue in the next few years, or GTC is overweight with people and admin.

I was excited when he joined, but quite taken aback by how universally disliked he was by investors at ITM power. Not sure what has gone on with his departure, but perhaps my excitement at his appointment was misplaced.

I've seen a few accounts in my time and GTC's don't look like they are heading for break even any time soon. Unless its a type of break-even that I've never heard of.

An AIM "break-even" perhaps.

They made it very clear in the results presentation only 2 weeks ago that they did not need to raise any money & were expecting to break even going forward. So it must be linked to Cooley's contract being terminated

Big placing at 10p - what odds ? Sudden drops for no reason...

Basically, many small companies don't have the financial resilience to last all the way through the planning and project process required to get to shovel ready sites, especially with new tech.

I don't see what value H2Green have developed, that lots of other businesses couldn't. Exclusive rights don't mean much without funding. A paper plan is just that.

H2Green had a couple of people originally and no assets. I'd like to know exactly what they have got now.
