I am sure the results of the arbitration hearing will be released after the two week hearing starting 19th February.

When any compensation due is actually received is another matter, as you say, expected in 2024.

News of an agreement and full production restoration could come at any time.

The two-week arbitration hearing is scheduled to start in London on 19 February 2024, so hopefully positive news in the short term.

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and a Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) delegation arrived in Switzerland on Monday to take part in the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos.

The Premier, who was also accompanied by several Kurdish investors and businesspeople, plans to meet with several world leaders during the Forum.

Moreover, Barzani will take part in a panel on the conflicts and tensions in the Middle East.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani on Sunday said that Erbil and Baghdad are on the right path to solving the problem of the Kurdistan Region’s stalled oil exports.

Barzani spoke to reporters following a trip to Baghdad where he met with senior Iraqi government and political leaders, including Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani and Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani.

“The matter of oil exports was one of the topics we discussed with the oil minister and the prime minister. We hope that this matter be solved in a short while,” Barzani told Rudaw’s Halkawt Aziz.

“I cannot say when, but I think we are on the right path to solve the issue,” he added.
