They wanted a premium for 10K so I just bought 5,000 for now, but the trade isn't showing up on the LSE list.

I wonder if they were waiting on that court case being decided before going ahead with contracts for the IOC's ?

It would make sense otherwise it would look stupid to agree them & then say there illegal !

Anyway seems like another possible problem overcome !

Court Rejects Challenge to Iraq-KRG Oil Deals: The Federal Court rejected a complaint against an agreement between the Iraqi oil ministry and UAE's Naft Hilal and Dana Gas. MP Oday Awadi called for cancelling the contract with companies also working with the KRG, calling it illegal. He also stated buying gas from the companies violates the Oil Ministry's laws. After several hearings, the Court rejected Awadi's complaint, removing legal obstacles to the Oil Ministry's transactions with companies investing in the Kurdistan Region.

I've not researched the topic to be honest.

The cuts in Q1 are voluntary - not compulsive (as far as I'm aware)

You'd have to also find out if Iraq has been using all of its quota recently or not !

Remember Genel through DNO is already producing quite a lot of oil daily now anyway, so its not going to be additional production like some of the fields that are not producing at all at the moment.

As for Iraq, I'm sure they would use the pipeline if it were open, simply because its out of the "conflict zone" & you never know what is going to flare up in that area at the moment, just look at all the ships now being targeted!

Nobody has answered the question on Iraq cutting its quota by 220k bopd in Q1 2024.

How does that work with opening the pipeline although GKP are holding up well?

I've sold what I bought this morning for a tiny profit.

I know there is a game a foot

So I've put in a limit order in case they decide to push the price down below 70p again today.

There has been 2 distinctly different endings to how they've played the last hour in the past 3 days, one a strong finish, one catch a falling knife one.

So lets see if its either of them or a very sedate one!

Thing is there's more buys then sells .. it's the algorithams taking it down ... and I've seen it too many times just as they take it down they take it up as quick

We all have to remember the pipeline will open at some point but when who knows good for us is our liquidity position and we are selling enough locally to cover costs

Well it traded in the 69's ......

The question now is whether this is a buyer or seller trap ?

The under performance to GKP over the past month is amazing.

I've risked buying a few more but could be wrong again !
