Genedrive Takeover Rumours (GDR)

As is common in these situations, there is clearly selling pressure at a mathematical/psychological 4.5p = 3 x the placing price. Hopefully we will manage to overcome it, and push towards what experience tells me will be a short-term trading high point of 7.5p = 5 x the placing price. Medium-term progress from there will depend on fundamentals ie can Mr Market see growing sales and breakeven approaching? Or a possible takeover by a bigger fish.Just my opinion of course, NAI etc

Imagine after full recommendation given, there will be potential takeover bids for the company. The question is, what will be fair value.

I agree bones ... even £100m is cheap to a US pharm with 2 amazing products. Some might have been but you only have to look at the charts for last year to see the rise beforehand (pointed out by Zico many times).

There's nothing on the chart stopping this to 3.5p and above tbh but that was pre placing. Still at 3.5p mkt cap would only be around 18m with 6m in the bank. I do think this is a takeover target which I don't normally and dismiss such talk as hopeful but if I were a company looking for a ready to go product with great potential and able to buy it for peanuts this would be high on the list now. A usa company taking it through fda having all the hard work done for them already and could open up a huge market too. Now it's moving I suspect if a bid is coming it would come soon before it gets a lot more expensive. Just my opinion

Purple and go and slap yourself very hard for missing out here whne it was there for any moron to see what was happening. Silly boy What I was going to say is we haven't heard about the American tie up that was in the presentation. I suspect that rather than join Gdr they may see an oppurtunity here to buy the company for next to nothing and sell it themselves. Takeover starting at 6-7p from here possible. Would be a bargain with all the money spent on developing the tests and cash in the bank. As takeover targets go this is rising imo

Dear fellow investors, there is a little company called Dukemount Capital Plc (DKE)listed on the main market. After restructuring, forgiveness of loans, share exchange for debt, and raising £300,000 gross amount in April 2024, it is essentially debt free. The directors of DKE have stated that it is looking for a suitable company to reverse into it, using it as a shell. Looking at their background there is every possibility that a reverse takeover will happen. Its share price will rise substantially when that happens. This is my summary of the situation. Please check it out.

Blake Smith another prick filtered. This is heading north. They have usa partner to announce and NICE in July. See you at 5p. Wouldn't surprise me if. A takeover comes. I usually discount them as ramping but get a sneaky feeling here one might be coming in the following months from the American partner

If the share price is below 0.5p I will launch a takeover bid for the company.

Digressing from here, I bought into Ocado at around 350p recently. This is always the lowest point where it bounces upwards for a double. In the event it drifted down more than once to about 330 p area, but has bounced back strongly for two days. Ocado is ripe for a takeover. BUY.
