You may well be right with your observations. For me personally, I just wanted some sector exposure, and I don't have a great deal of time to research the best plays. I'll accept a slightly-below-benchmark performance in return for the simplicity, spread of risk, and general exposure to the sector.

These are difficult to buy today, I have had just a modest top up and had to wait over 5 mins to get them. Does it mean shares are in short supply, or is it just broker incompetence.

US and Canadian equities were very strong on Friday. Plenty of large % movers.

Strong start this morning. GCL has got a long way to move back up if this is the start of the new uranium bull market.

I'm happy to have built a position here over the course of this week. Now I've got to just leave it alone, add on weak days, and not get tempted to chase it when it's hot. I think this could be a great pick for 2018
