Interesting points from Cameco's comments,QP. The charts of several uranium miners show the 50 day closing in on the 200. The RSIs are 50 or over and the MACDs are either turning up or close to doing so. We may be a few weeks from fireworks. But then again nothing's for sure in this game.

Fully agree. The spot market is nuts. It's a busted market and it's going to go ballistic. Some producers have recently been buying in the spot market to fulfill long-term contract obligations because it's currently cheaper than mining+refining the uranium themselves. That is a wholly unsustainable and unrealistic market situation. It cannot last. Speculators and stockpilers are jumping into the market, further fueling price movements by increasing U3o8 holdings significantly. Moreover, sector bellwether Cameco today announce Q3 results and comment that:- - "The uranium market is showing a marked improvement compared to a year ago..." and - "As a result of the updates to our outlook, we expect a strong finish in the fourth quarter." Spot uranium now 60% higher than the 2016 lows. A lot of factors are now aligning to give a long-awaited and major stimulus and impetus to strong future demand for uranium which will bolster prices. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP

Numerco tweeted 5 minutes ago: "Spot #uranium 2875/2890 USc/Lb #U3O8 (Chg 35.00c, 1.21%)" It ended up 42c tonight from the same source. Once it breaks $30 GCL will motor away.

The turn is in on the share holdings. GCL should do well over the next several weeks. What an opportunity this dip has been!

yes - but gold will soon start to fall as margin calls start to kick in. If this is a major market crash then this fall in PoG can unfold over several weeks. So tread carefully

Gold and silver are both up as the markets go into freefall in a typical October crash.

Have a look at the relationship between uranium spot prices and long term prices here hxxps://www.cameco.com/invest/markets/uranium-price. You can see three distinct patterns 1988-1996 Long term price below spot price - price stability 1996-2008 Long term price equal to spot price - price stability moving into price bubble. 2008-2018 Long term price above spot price - steady price decline. The interesting thing is that the gap between spot and long term has narrowed this year perhaps suggesting a change in the spot/long term relationship which looks bullish for the uranium price.

Broader market collapse occurring, with ripples hitting GCL. Fundamentals still extremely good, and so short term downside very limited while medium term upside massive.

The sector leader CCJ or TSE:CCO went up on good volume today penetrating a downtrend going back several years. I lifted this comment made earlier today from another site. "It looks like Funds are at the start of taking up some huge positions. Here's an example of this buying today. House Positions for C:CCO from 20181004 to 20181004 House Bought $Val Ave 14 ITG 486,000 7,395,103

The leading holdings, Nexgen and Denison are on the verge of major price breakouts. (See Moniology on Twitter.) The others are looking perky, too. CCJ needs to lead the advance but there are a number of contextual factors at play, not least whether the CRA will contest the recent court decision in CCJ's favour. CCJ has hundreds of millions of dollars put by that could find its way into acquisitions. Spot though, continues to rise and that's psychologically significant.

I managed to get some more online this afternoon after 4pm at 23.30p. I suspect the sector is about ready to break out. There's only a couple of laggards left.
