20/5/2015 13:42 | Crazy fall. I don't tend to sell based on no news falls, so am holding. Often these falls are for no good reason. But sometimes they aren't. Annoyed and concerned. | ![]() stegrego
20/5/2015 11:26 | Gable has strong start to 2015 Trading Update Thursday 12 Feb 2015 09:03 "European non-life insurance company Gable Holdings expects 2014 to show continued strong growth in gross written premiums at levels some 35% above the previous year. And it says the outlook is for this growth in gross written premiums to continue this year and 2016." | ![]() cheshire man

20/5/2015 10:36 | I was looking for an entry point more or less exactly here but i am currently finding it difficult to locate my balls :-o) | ![]() spooky
20/5/2015 10:33 | Well looking at trading over the last couple of days i think that it is safe to assume that these are being shorted ahead of next weeks announcement, so either someone knows something that is not in the public domain or they think that they know something. The regular flow of 10,000 sales indicates it's not the occasional PI losing faith, a capital raising exercise may be a good explanation. | ![]() spooky
20/5/2015 10:25 | Thinking about the share price fall and looking back at the last trading statement, negatives are the large fire claim direct loss, the cost of reinstating the reinsurance cover for that risk, and the increase in attritional losses in France. The positive is the increase in business in January. I wonder about balance sheet strength? They have to stand ready to meet any valid claims. Although they should report a profit in the results, might the market be getting wind of a wish to raise some capital? I'm neither long nor short here. Just trying to understand. Of course it could just be sellers shaking out other weak holders, generating a downward run. It would help if the Company were to put out a statement - but I guess the next news will be the results. | ![]() ed 123
20/5/2015 08:25 | Surprisingly quiet beginning to the trading day following yesterdays panic. | ![]() spooky

19/5/2015 19:36 | Well the results are coming out and they are earlier than last year, both of those facts should be regarded as good news. | ![]() spooky
19/5/2015 19:21 | Smoke and mirrors , should rise as quick after the results. | battlebus2
19/5/2015 19:14 | That's one way of looking at it but the market makers don't take 100,000 share lots if they haven't got somewhere to go with them. | ![]() spooky
19/5/2015 18:51 | Rotors, Those are probably delayed trades and therefore sells rather than buys. Also, you don't buy shares after hours, so that's another delayed trade. Trade data is near useless. Only thing you can gather from today is clearly a lot more sells than buys, otherwise it wouldn't be down so much. | ![]() stegrego
19/5/2015 18:22 | I'm gonna stick my neck out here & say that today was a - blow off bottom! lol:) GLA | germanicus
19/5/2015 18:07 | 19th. Some quite high volume buys (many over offer price due amount) after 4.15 plus an after hours trade of 50,000 shares. Results day will be critical. | rotors
19/5/2015 18:06 | I might buy some more tomorrow seems very tempting.. | ![]() playful
19/5/2015 17:51 | Either there is a serious problem OR they are getting all the weak holders out ahead of the numbers. I don't have a position but i am watching with interest. | ![]() spooky
19/5/2015 17:49 | Just sitting tight until the results, their last statement was upbeat on new business etc so we will see... | battlebus2
19/5/2015 16:18 | Any idea why the sharp drop today? This one doesn't seem to have a floor which is kinda dangerous if you are in the insurance industry! | ![]() mach100

19/5/2015 15:22 | They would have to put out a TS if the results were materially different to forecasts. They haven't but have announced results date. That usually means inline. | ![]() stegrego
19/5/2015 15:01 | The chart suggests insider knowledge exiting before bad figures. Not that anything will ever get done about trading with insider knowledge of course! | billy_liar
19/5/2015 14:50 | Massively underwater here. Don't know whether this is momentum selling, panic selling, shorters or bad news coming. Of course everything could be fine. | ![]() stegrego
