Just in case anyone is getting anxious. Sept 2014 results updates.

Gable Holdings continues its fast growth with gross written premiums in H114 rising 43% year-on-year, net earned premiums up 30% and underlying profit before tax up 23% to £4.9m. As expected, an amount was set aside to raise claims reserves, making reported profit before tax £2.5m. Net cash at the end of June 2014 was £33m. Gable continues to add new brokers in the UK and Europe to ensure this growth continues and has recently announced a distribution agreement with iprism, with gross written premiums of £100m over the next three years.

MMs just stealing weak investors money at the moment

Unless you are desperate to sell now, MMs playing games with the price really shouldn't bother you. All they will be trying to do is steal cheap shares from general traders and those that trade on margin (ie spreadbetters/CFD traders).

As a LTH in a growth company let them have their fun and stop worrying.

LabatieNot trying to Condescend. Just surprised that you even needed to ask the question about whether mms were playing with the price.

I managed small companies funds for a long time. I've never seen the sort of utterly gratuitous stuff that goes on now, so please don't condescend.

Looks like someone went round the MM's this morning selling 10k shares to each one as this is the NMS and killed the price today. Can easily happen on an illiquid stock. Keep the faith, company is doing well and will get re-rated.

MW16 are you referring to GAH or the market in general.

The CEO has a large shareholding here so interests are aligned.

Why is anyone surprised about fall? The whole share ownership thing is rigged and a con. Sorry to break the bad news to u.Don't get upset when the share price does the opposite of what you think it should do.

Nice announcement today of further business should keep the momentum going.

Will be interesting to see if Numis come out with a recommendation and bring new clients on board.

SCB - Dewsall has a lot of skin in the game, owning over 18% of the company so he has a high enough interest for the company to be run for the benefit of shareholders and not just the directors and he keeps increasing his holding.

Re AGM location - I think the main holder by some margin is Helium Special Situations (Zurich)
The issue isn't the location or dodgy dealings - its if Helium decide to lighten further (they are v overweight) - it will swamp the mkt with shares

Well done for raising these important points. I guess the Co Sec is a simple tax-efficiency move and it would cost the same if done in house. The Hogarth Underwriting is unattractive but relatively small in the company context. Perhaps a yellow flag rather than a red one? But would turn to red if it increases. I think the AGM location is a disgrace and could only be mitigated by a shareholder briefing held in London. Have they done one? Has anyone asked for one?

I have been looking at this as a possible purchase, however I am concerned by the third party transactions which are:

1) The chief executive is the sole owner of Hogarth Underwriting acts as an intermediary for the group’s UK construction a/c and routinely collects premiums and settles claims under delegated authority from Gable. In 2013 amounted to £1,676,000, balance outstanding due 31/12/13 was £2,042m.

2) A co beneficially owned by Mike Hirschfield provides co secretarial, advisory & accountancy services in 2013 £70,000, 2012 £40,000.

These are troubling as the regulation of AIM companies is lax and dodgy dealings are rife. These two relationships could provide scope for fraud or theft in the future. After all it would have to be a very brave employee who would reveal any fraudulent transactions. Also the directors could run the company for the benefit of themselves instead of outside shareholders and these two relationships make that easy.

Finally why is the shareholder’s meeting held in Zurich. Is this to discourage any outside shareholders turning up and asking awkward questions? It is certainly not shareholder friendly when the market for these shares is based in London.

Can anyone provide good answers to these issues?

A decent recovery over the last two weeks or so. Now at an interesting level on the chart.

Let's keep our fingers xed that it doesn't rattle back at the slightest adverse breeze.

You could be right. I can't predict the market but I'm betting that this is a tempory correction and good companies are cheap right now in my opinion.

Cheap as chips at this level. This whole sell off in the market is a great opportunity to fill your shopping trolley with bargains a bit like going to sainsburys and finding the reduced section full of decent products at knock down prices.
===============================================================================

How do you know the 'sell off' has finished?

Could not this be the start of a bear run?

Chips a todays price could look quite expensive by xmas?

Best time to buy a quality growth stock is just after a minor company related wobble when the general markets are showing signs of fear.

i.e. NOW!

However that is just my honest opinion. Take it or leave it.

The forecasts are per Sharescope. I know Edison hasn't yet got a 2016 forecast so it must be from either Panmure Gordon or FinnCap.
