03/12/2007 08:36 | brilliant start to the week ! | outsourcer
30/11/2007 20:05 | there was your intraday 30p. A strong rebound at the close may indicate more positive weekend press news. Glad I bought some more now. Al | altube
30/11/2007 17:04 | Numis Securities said: 'There is considerable medium-term upside potential.' | huffnpuff
30/11/2007 17:02 | Blimey, at one stage there we touched 30p! Thankful for that bounce! | huffnpuff
30/11/2007 16:04 | And, once again, just as I need to sell some shares to pay some bills, the good ship Future plummets... Darn. | huffnpuff
30/11/2007 15:51 | Right, that's close enough, I've added a few here. | bletherer
30/11/2007 15:21 | i topped up twice in the last month in the mid 40's when we were on the rise and am now sitting on a healthly loss, so not going to risk anymore until something logical comes out about the fall recently | outsourcer
30/11/2007 14:23 | yeah could pop down to 30p intra day but weekend press could get this one as a recovery play and then Monday we could see a significant rise. After NRK I need a winner - lost quite a lot on that one 8>( | altube
30/11/2007 14:12 | Starting to get very tempting, but having come all this way, why not a little more to 30p? For now I'm being greedy and waiting. | bletherer
30/11/2007 14:08 | The only thing I can think is that an order is being filled. Expect a further increase in Templetons position in the next coming days. Spoke to a few guys there this week and they are very confident of the future. Apparently the board are rumoured to have huge bonus options if the share price reaches 75p. I sense a bit of manipulation with this one now. I am long for some more today. Al | altube
30/11/2007 14:00 | 32P !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF is going on ? | outsourcer
29/11/2007 19:01 | Don't have too much spare cash at present but I might have to buy a few more if this goes to 30p in the upcoming sessions, as looks quite likely now (little by way of support before then and an aggressive downtrend). Not only is that likely to provide good technical support, it would also have the company on a pretty modest P/E. There's little doubt in my mind that Future is in much better shape now than when it was last down at these levels a year ago. | bletherer
29/11/2007 16:46 | Now what's going on? Does the market now consider Future fairly priced? | huffnpuff
28/11/2007 20:50 | Bleth Sorry, it was after i spoke to my friend in the city. Templeton seem to be upto something you do not buy 11% of a company so quickly without a motive. Just my thoughts. With the DOW racing ahead tonight no negativity here. Also the Fuyture business is relatively recession proof as it is targetting prosumers not general consumers. In that vain I do feel 50p-60p in the short term (end of Jan) or £1+ if a buyer appears. Al | altube
28/11/2007 15:55 | Ah, fair point. He'll have to explain that one himself. Nice to see a bounce today but it has to get back above 40 to start to undo some of the technical damage done by the recent selloff. I liked the presentation of the results very much - this CEO has a great style, very direct and refreshingly transparent, but when all's said and done we're talking adjusted eps of 2.5p, with prospects of say 10% per year growth from now on. So with overall market valuations relatively low at present I don't think a share price around 40 is ridiculously cheap. Happy to hold as I think the company is turning it round and will probably add if we sell off back to 30p but I don't really see exciting share price growth in the next 12 months unless the general economic climate improves and we see a bull market developing. | bletherer
28/11/2007 15:23 | bletherer, I can see that yet 30 mins prior to that, he said if I could I would be buying, what changed in 30 mins !!! | outsourcer
28/11/2007 14:38 | outsourcer, "long again" = he's bought some shares. In case you weren't around earlier, altube has quite a decent track record of posting "the word" on the company which turned out to be correct (though he's not infallible). I certainly remember him warning that Future was in a mess when the series of profit warnings came through last year. | bletherer
28/11/2007 14:33 | altube, do you actually hold these shares ? | outsourcer
28/11/2007 14:25 | Future is literally a sitting duck for a publishing company which wants to get hold of its skill base particularly in the internet field. | altube
28/11/2007 14:22 | Well, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if a bid came along. Templeton recently increased its stake and I'd love to know what they're up to. | huffnpuff
28/11/2007 14:02 | Spoke with another friend of mine in the city, who said that Future is very undervalued and would expect a bid any moment for the whole company. I am long again. Al | altube

28/11/2007 13:33 | I got wind of good results late yesterday. The city may be spooked by falling revenues but profit will continue to rise as the margin from internet operations is much healthier than print. If I could I would be buying this for a spring recovery to 60-70p level. Al | altube |
