04/6/2008 09:31 | One thing they will definitely get is the oxygen of publicity, I guess, and the opportunity to work with some of the world's biggest brands... a heightened profile can only be a good thing. Will have to do a bit more digging on this to fully understand it I guess... hope it's a polished product though, these things can look awful if there are journo presenters involved... | huffnpuff
04/6/2008 09:23 | Huff, I dont have a PS3, but have Xbox360 and it sound similar to the xbox live situation where you can download game demo's, movies, music etc, but as you say what will Future get from this. | outsourcer
04/6/2008 09:18 | Interesting news about the new digital content to be supplied by Future US over the PlayStation network... not too keyed up on all of this, to be honest... will this be an option on the Home network when it's launched? Also, I'm guessing Future get no money up front but make their lolly from selling ads and subscriptions? Interesting concept, but will people buy it? | huffnpuff
03/6/2008 15:32 | Nice deal with Tesco to distribute one million copies of a new store-exclusive games mag! | huffnpuff

30/5/2008 17:05 | Unbelievable. A steady trickle of good news and no reaction whatsoever. Bah. | huffnpuff
30/5/2008 16:32 | Typical close! | huffnpuff

28/5/2008 19:42 | Wish I'd been clever enough to buy in at 26.5p! The jammy git. | huffnpuff
25/5/2008 19:17 | If a company can increase its like-for-like sales by 17 per cent and still get hammered, then the markets are totally irrational, especially when it comes to Future plc. | huffnpuff
23/5/2008 08:22 | based on those results my 36p is a long long way off | outsourcer
22/5/2008 11:08 | I fortunately (!!) only need it to get to to 37p a share before breaking even and I dump the whole lot of my holding, but this has to be the worst investment i have ever made after buying my first lot in 2005 I have had a lot of money tied up and had no return. I just have no idea when/if we will hit that price, things looked good the other week when we started to the climb to 30p, but that was short lived. | outsourcer
20/5/2008 16:11 | It's quite amusing watching the ever-downward spiral of this share (or rather it would be, if I hadn't got so much of my spare cash invested in it). Having worked for the company, I rate it as one of the best run publishing operations out there, but it's saddled with a poor track record over recent years. Hopefully, results on Friday will return some confidence to the share. All the basics are there and I have every faith in the management team, but market sentiment towards the company is dire. | huffnpuff
20/5/2008 16:04 | 2 weeks ago we were touching 30p and now we are down again, as soon as get to break even (if ever) I am out of this POS | outsourcer
14/5/2008 10:52 | two big trades this morning | outsourcer
12/5/2008 19:47 | and back down we go | outsourcer
12/5/2008 08:39 | Also, who bought them? | huffnpuff
12/5/2008 08:38 | Completely missed the Templeton sell off. Curious thing to do just before results are announced. Does that spell a lack of confidence on their behalf? | huffnpuff
12/5/2008 08:26 | we cant quite break 30p | outsourcer |
