31/10/2007 16:01 | bletherer - I cant see any large trades, so it appears to have moved again on low volume which is what happened the other week and they came back to earth with a bump | outsourcer
31/10/2007 15:55 | This is getting ridiculous. Whoever had that idea about MMs getting bored and walking it up and down to look for action might have been right...The good news is that with L&G adding it appears they got more action from buyers than from sellers. | bletherer
31/10/2007 15:52 | whoa look at that jump | outsourcer
29/10/2007 15:58 | looks like an acquisition by L&G plus 4 hefty buys this afternoon | outsourcer
26/10/2007 16:26 | Crikey, just noticed that a couple of gigantic trades went through this afternoon. Matched at the mid-price, so perhaps a buy and sell. A bit of interest, at any rate! That actually gives Future its highest volume all year... | bletherer
26/10/2007 16:03 | So far at least 40p seems to be holding up as support yet again. What's the betting it closes at 45p on December 31st to pick up the "most boring stock of the year" award? | bletherer
25/10/2007 10:59 | Exactly. No volumes, nothing. If there was bad news in the offing, I'd expect to see a lot more shares being traded as Future is rather infamous for leaking info (I guess that's one of the problems of employing 100s of journalists!). I'm not unduly worried by any of this. The results will be good news, the share price will rise and I'd like to think we could expect a general rise over several months as a result. Fingers crossed no skeletons come out of closets... well, it is Halloween... | huffnpuff
25/10/2007 10:10 | but they got neither really | outsourcer
25/10/2007 09:48 | It's almost as if the market makers walked the share all the way up and then walked it all the way down again to sniff out buyers or sellers. | huffnpuff
25/10/2007 09:01 | we open below 40, something has got to be going on | outsourcer
24/10/2007 14:25 | Starting to look a bit fishy - I hope there isn't going to be a return to the bad old days when any bad news was preceded by an "unexplained" drop in price. I did anticipate a likely drop back from 50p because the apparent breakout was on no volume, but I didn't expect it to fall back this far - now breaking the gentle uptrend of the last few months and retesting important support. To be fair, even at these levels Future isn't particularly cheap on a current P/E basis: to look like there's value you have to believe they will be able to grow earnings a decent amount over the next year or two, and that's not yet proven even if the company does now appear to be heading in the right direction. | bletherer
24/10/2007 14:06 | down 3p on less than 50k volume | outsourcer
24/10/2007 09:12 | At this rate we'll be pushing lows we haven't seen any time this year! This really is bonkers. | huffnpuff
24/10/2007 08:35 | whats going on we have dropped about 20% in a week if bad new comes out, then that trading update the other week needs investigating | outsourcer
23/10/2007 12:15 | I'm beginning to wonder if bad news is on the way! | huffnpuff
23/10/2007 11:49 | and bigger the FTSE falls we get dragged down with it the FTSE rises and we keep going down the trading update said everything was fine so how the f@ck can we fall from 50p a week ago to this ! | outsourcer
22/10/2007 17:00 | Well, markets were affected by falls overseas, so I guess we were never going to have a good day today. However, I've still got faith with this one... come results day these WILL be over 50 pence and you won't be out of pocket Outsourcer. | huffnpuff
22/10/2007 11:15 | This is pure comedy... bring on the results! | huffnpuff
22/10/2007 10:09 | just when 50p looked like being tested back down we go | outsourcer
19/10/2007 11:28 | Well, I'm positive about the results at the end of next month; I'm sure we'll see a surge either before or just afterwards... not hoping for a fall though, I had to sell as I needed the cash and it's all been spent now! Believe me, if I had any spare cash I'd probably be tempted to buy more as I'm convinced these shares are way undervalued now. | huffnpuff
19/10/2007 11:12 | Come on huff, it is at least still pushing gently upwards on a monthly view. Anyway, shouldn't you be hoping it will dip back again so that you can buy back some of the holding you had to sell earlier at lower prices? | bletherer |
